Tell you this I believe 100% in Lloyd's Banking Group recovery back in the day , many thought I was bonkers from the lows in 2012 BUT Lloyd's bounced into the 90s within 18 months.

Today I more than relaxed here

When Trump won the election in 2016

All USD income on the FTSE stocks rallied hard for 12 to 24 months while UK GBP income stocks have sank to the bottom, many even company's like Lloyds Banking Group that lets be honest are solid FTSE 100 stocks in any normal times

Question is

If Trump Losses the up coming election in November

Could we possibly see the opposite reaction ? and see our UK income stocks rise against the following Dollar

Or is this just me wishful thinking here

I do need all help I can get to get Lloyds back to the disco 70s next year :-)

But what we looking at is Lloyd's forward statement on the last 6 months of 2020

Hopefully the departing CEO will hopefully want to increase the share price before he waves goodbye.

Honestly, I believe if he leaves with the share price still sitting on 5 / 10 year lows he will struggle to get another Job

Every CEO and Director is measured on the share price performance and returns to the Owners AKA shareholders.

I Could be wrong, but I sure I've read Lloyds banking group's shares are still one of the popular stocks with retail investors and Personally not seeing much decline on the share trades over the last 6 months.

The Markets every morning fixes the share price

Personally I see all this as an opportunity to increase the retirement pot while we a little unloved by the Market.

The pressure is now off mate

It's now all about the recovery over the next 6 to 12 months

I still hopeful we get paid our 2019 dividend early 2021 before he flys the nest here :-)

This may sound like madness

But the general census outside with pundits and non Lloyd's shareholders is that he actually done a good Job.

I have a gut feeling the Market over the 12 months may start giving him some slack and the share price may may even hit the 75p range as it was when he took over.

Obviously COVID must is still under control and Brexit done .. Deal or no Deal

It's only takes a few weeks for any FTSE share to bounce back 50 to 100 percent

I feel early 2022 he be in for a break from the market maker

Any sniff of new that our final 2019 dividend going to be paid in early 2020 and we all be loaded again here. IMHO

Patience is the name of the game with shares

HUR shares are cheap as chips

Antonio for sure going to want to pay a dividend early next year before he leaves the office

Even if it's our 2019 final dividend that he holding back :-)
