1st buy 2500 shares at 72p

Now hold 580,000 plus todate after topping up on the way and the odd trade

100k up sitting on my Lloyd's BEAUTY doing fook all really.....

Moral of the story is

At the end of the day up 100k up and nothing to dislike here IMHO.. you do win in the end with solid FTSE 100 stocks

I agree the Market Makers are playing a blinder .

Hopefully a decent dividend paid in September and I l can re-invest a percentage

This competition is now dying of death maybe because since it begun we was around 49.50p now below 46p

Even the announcement on the relaxation on the Dividends restriction on Banks lasted a little bounce lasted about 3 hours before the trend down continued .

This month is dragging , the update at the end of the month , Funny thing is they was fast enough to cancel any declared in early 2020 , would off been a nice touch BUT the Bank Bosses cannot be even bothered to update the shareholders with the expected surplus funds on their balance sheet that can be returned to sharesholders and attract new investors appetite via RNS that just costs a few grand to send out .

They all cardboard cut outs just turning up picking big salary's drinking coffee at home 3 days working days a week

I happy to sit around here , medium term because , I really believe Lloyds shares are cheap at 46p still about 35% below pre-covid levels , but would like some communication please regarding the news on Dividends now.

I am in no doubt today is a good time to be a Lloyds shareholder over the next 18 months or so

Cannot see us crab walking for much longer and hopefully I see my 63p sooner than later here

BTW longterminvestor , I would not personally never recommend anyone to sell purchase shares at of at 63p below 30p just to just get the 2.25p withheld dividend that's totally Madness suggestion when buying and selling shares.

Legally / formally prob are you correct, but I topped up big in Feb 2020 ( 25% higher than the share price is actually today ) because the BOD recommendation to pay a final div for 2019 of 2.25p to me paid in May I actually budget this dividend to pay of some personal debt.

Fool me yes us Banks shareholders had to forfeit our Dividend to save the UK from collapse

BUT

now we in 2021 , LLoyds sitting on bundles of excess capital and Lord Blackwell whatever our chairman is said in 12 months its will be returned to the shareholders, I still feel that its was harsh and heartless and as it turns out i the suspension of the final dividend of 2.25p was not needed to be retained / withheld and anyway all covid loans are Government Guaranteed .

All we ask / call on is that Lloyds Banking Group ''DO THE RIGHT THING '' and pay us this so called promised dividend over the next few months as a '' Special Dividend ''

We only asking them 15 months later down the line to honour their February 2019 Final update promise .

Many original Lloyd's shareholders have been very patient here and still sitting on big paper loses

Hopefully around 1p and some guidance future payments going forward now we been given the nod and wink from the regulator maybe a special in the pipeline.

if it's paid as a "special dividend" then all current shareholders on the register should receive it :-)

We all just do our bit to try and reinstate our withheld declared dividend 2.25p from last year that in my opinion was harshly withdrawn.

Yeah , i was sucked in and topped up Clearly while the canny trader was dumping

Saying that I Have never learnt my lesson and done the same for nearly 12 years now , fear of missing out I suppose thinking it's lift off here .....hahahahaha

My balance will probably not be spent until the update now, and what dividend we can could receive in September

Car MOT runs out end of September and needs a good service.

So fingers crossed and all that.

Looking forward to closing the 77p gap over the next 12 months now

Lloyds going to be the dividend Darling Bank again.

Pension funds will be watching closely at the update in 2 weeks
