I read UK Banks have excess £5 Billion thats they have withheld that can be paid :-)

Our withheld final 2018/ 2019 2.25p paid as a '' Special Dividend '' this year

I still got my Dividend Money sitting in the cash trading account.... unable to 're- invest until we hear about the next dividend payment with Lloyd's.

First half off 2021just going to be one of them year's that we at mercy to the regulator and I cannot afford to top up today as I may need the money if they still want to withhold shareholders money from the,owners.

Very very positive news for the UK Recovery

Lloyd's Banking Group shares should be hitting the mid 50s to 60s by now.

But

Sadly all this good news recently having a negative effect on the share performance recently.

I reckon the market waiting for any dividend news before we start hitting the 60 pennies again in the 3rd Quarter.

With Lloyd's they really should at least pay the promised final 2018/2019 of 2.25p that they crudely cancelled. As a " Special Dividend"

It's the decent thing to do most shareholders suffered hard times last year more than most.

Anyway my postion to date , I've not spent AKA topped up any of my last dividend money sitting in my tradibg account , until we hear any news on hopefully another payment this September.

If sentiment is and the UK recovery takes hold, Lloyd's Banking Group shares will carry on will hit pre covid prices of 65p to 75p price range over the next quarter IMHO.

Sometimes its best to sit back and enjoy the ride , just like the good weather..... medium term Lloyd's is on the up here.

Never be greedy in life and stick to stocks and shares that you know.

It's so easy to get carried away and can seem that every man hand his dog are making big bucks ..... reading these share forums. But the truth is , most retail investors like us end up losing our hard earned cash.

Back to dividends , with the black beauty , we all all hopeful we now start seeing our quarterly dividends here, that was promised before the parademic in 2019.

A "special dividend " I as payment that is paid outside the normal arrangement of dividends policy... it's mostly likely a one off payment due to excess capital on the balance sheet that's can be returned to shareholders.

Good luck and be careful because it every man / girl to themselves..... and there are plenty of sharks wanting you to lose your savings/ investment.

Another dividend announcement here, will see the swing back back to pre covid levels of 65p plus again here.

No trading, just sitting on my Lloyd's Banking Group shares ....... and getting richer by the week :-)
