It is fascinating there's no doubt about it, but too open for manipulation and like you say, if you have enough money to mine then it can be very profitable. Morning Ed, 'Pretendy coins' like it :) There was a time last year I too was keen to have a dabble, I really thought they could be the future for alternative currencies, it would in quite a number of ways be a solution to a very real problem with our ageing monetary system and all the associated corruption it comes with, shame really, looks like it's all been a flash in the pan. You are quite right, as always the big money has already been made and the masses are left picking up the pieces. It does look like there could be the mother of all bounces due but it is way to risky, this AIM lark is enough.

Slightly off-topic, has anyone been watching or been involved with bitcoin/crypto? The recent trend is so reminiscent of a speculation/run-for-the-hills AIM sell off.
