With 132 million off debt in Jan/Feb at much lower POO the higher price well into the 4th mth of the year finally looks to be making a difference. I assume we'll pay off a fair bit more than 132 in Mar/April

I don't know whether we'll get that, but I think that the ENQ SP is on the front foot again. I bought some to trade with just now around 30.

I think so too, I think we've shaken off our shackels. I'm hoping to have the discipline to just let it go without doing any 'trading'.

If you were to view the chart pattern from Oct 2018 to now as a very large iH&S (inverse head and shoulders) formation. Then todays price action might suggest that we're off to a logical target of about 50p. The way logical targets work is that they give you an area to work from and don't represent exactly what might happen. So looking around those levels, I could imagine 45 to 56p as statistically possible. I think AB has turned this ship around (with some help from Putin).

Makesome, I liked the down-play of the update, very modest. It had a heavy, quality feel about it. In that respect it made me think about Boris the Blade's view on guns, "Heavy is good, heavy is reliable, if it doesn't work you can always hit them with it". By that I mean, whatever happens, it'll be useful. This is a very useful company, they've learned a lot over the years.

Just a quick look back at daily candlesticks makes it seem like there has not been this much bull dominance in this market for at least 2-3 years. I think this time the up-tick is for real KO

In ENQ terms, this feels like a 'boooom' moment. Didn't think get the chance to say that, but this morning feels all the better now that I have had the chance. Can you blame me for making the most of the moment?

That seems unlikely to me. I'm not sure why ENQ would want to take on addtional debt at the current time.

We seem to have varied views on the update. I assume the market will reflect this. It'll be very interesting to see what happens to the SP. Having dropped my leveraged positions and with my view being that it's a positive update, I'd actually love the SP to drop back enough to make it worth my while to buy my positions back. If it rallies to the upside, I have my shares so would benefit.

If I'm understanding that correctly, it seems to be quite a modestly reported RNS. First 2 mths of this year knocking off 130 million dollars from debt seems like a great performance. Not surprised Swinney has been snapped up by TLW, it suggests to me that his performance at ENQ during what was a very difficult period for ENQ/TLW and PMO amongst others was highly regarded within the industry.

Right, tea break is over, back to progress to 30! Come on ENQ. KO, when something keeps banging on a line, sooner or later it breaks through it. Very hard to see how things could be better for ENQ at the moment.

Volume this week is already at the total for last week so it's difficult to imagine it won't exceed it, it would have to more than double (which it could bearing in mind we're halfway through the week) to exceed the week before last. May already be seeing a tendency towards higher volumes. It may have started KO

Looks like some company specific buying going on now. Slow and steady, but it's all up for the moment. Could tomorrows budget impact our SP?

the positions I closed are about 15% of my total. I'm counting on further rises. But the account I closed out is intended to be an active trading account so, to make sure that I stay the right side of any dip if it comes, I closed out.

For the budget, we have until 10:35 to decide on our positions (that's when the announcement is due). I was once caught on the hop holding DRAX over a budget announcement, that was a surprise! Anyway. I've closed all of my leveraged positions early just in case. I had planned to hold through tomorrow to try to get a sense of things, but the 'bottle' has gone I'm afraid, I've 'gone' early. I've retained all of my shares.
