The delay is completely orchestrated, there is no way it takes this long to produce accounts of a zero revenue company even if you have to restate them.

Why do you bother with Jason, the only person talking any sense is Theo.

Thank you for sharing. The interview was better than I expected given all the comments, nice to finally hear Theo and I liked his blunt/direct approach. I was also intrigued by the way they took time to measure their replies, given they cannot divulge items that are not in the public domain. So I expect quite a bit of newsflow to come.

I also found it reassuring that the change of leadership at Sibanye does not appear to have impacted things.

I can understand that and what I struggle with is why the board have not reigned him in. They know he has been saying stuff and releasing news that is unachievable.

Thing is, JB is a dealmaker not a CEO or Chair, he should leave that to other more competent and experienced people. In my mind he should step down as Chair and Longley plus Tatnall should also go. They have no experience in this sector and have presided over this period.

Thanks dcode and everyone else for the updates. I have yet to view the recording and it's pretty disappointing that it is still not available, especially since I have been a shareholder for well over a year.

The only real surprise for me is that on the slides it has Sibanye as a 30+ shareholder, whereas the deal gave them 40 percent with the stated aim of keeping to that level during any fundraising. Why I wonder?

Can't make the presentation either, so will wait for the recording. Asides from the obvious questions that will be asked, I hope someone brings up the Stranger Things RTO as there are more replacement filings at companies house today.

They've never given a proper update as to why the accounts are taking this long, so it's left to us to try and guess why. It wouldn't surprise me if the new accountants found issues with the old accountants work and hence the time it's taking to correct things. We also know that NEO are quite shoddy in updating companies house so it's a little difficult to read anything into the timing of this.

I have my doubts as to whether the presentation will go ahead tomorrow, they've not released any information via the normal channels as to how to access it - though of course we have found out by other means.

I was hopeful we would re-list this month but I doubt that too now. They won't re-list until after the interim accounts are published, which are supposed to follow 'shortly' after the 2024 accounts. But we know a NEO 'shortly' doesn't have much foundation to it. Hope I am wrong but there have been many false dawns!

If you re-look at the 3rd Sept RNS the company mentions the complexity of the Stranger Holdings rto. So it looks, in my view, that someone has uncovered errors in the paperwork which has necessitated this filing. This might go some way to explain the extended process of completing the annual accounts.

I was told they're holding back the release of that until after the accounts are published.

It's only natural for people to be concerned as we start another week with nothing. There is no point in the presentation without the accounts being published, so will the next RNS be the actual accounts or a further delay to the presentation.

The board's credibility has been absolutely hammered and it will take a lot of effort by them to restore this. I have a lot of questions that I would like to put forward but it's pointless until I can read through the accounts as these may answer some or pose others.

As for the share price, personally I don't see 5p as realistic in the short term. A fair number of shares have been issued sub 1p plus there will be investors who want out no matter what given the long suspension. I'm in with a low average and prepared to wait it out but in my view the next few months are critical, we need to get those approvals in and then a realistic runway to funded production to restore confidence.

Absolutely but if I may add, honesty and transparency too. There has never been a clear answer as to why the accounts have taken so long and there really isn't an excuse to warrant that time either.

We're now coming up to 2 years being listed, 9 months of which have been suspended. And I stand to be corrected here but the next set of year end accounts have to be filed by the 31 March or we suspend again.

What Jam Butty and his crew need to do is to fully explain what the hell they have been doing all year. I also want to see the company appoint a CFO to the board and not rely on a fossil of a NED.

I wonder how the accounts are going for the year end just finished!

My tuppence worth. Firstly it's nice to finally hear something/anything from our CEO, just a pity it's not directly to shareholders.

In my mind what is now abundantly clear is that they can't do a whole lot until the approvals are completed. Sibanye said a while ago Q1 of 26, so I would much rather rely on them than anything coming out of NEO. That would take us to 2027 for first mining I guess, which in the grand scheme of things isn't too bad.

On the money front, we haven't got a clue as to what shape NEO are in financially but have another read of the July RNS. They've already placed at 0.50 with clients so I query whether that is the 5 mill or will there be more.

And we actually have Gold whereas as they have yet to report assay results, plus we're not run by a couple of people with an interesting history!

Yes they have kept us updated which is a little step in the right direction to restoring confidence. However I would have appreciated more clarity on why the audit process keeps drifting. The only thing I can think of is a problem with the subsidiary accounts, why say they were complete and now they're not.

I do plan on attending the presentation, though I hope he takes this opportunity to bring other members of the board with him.
