Hi All - hope all ok - can anyone tell the latest update here - It looks as though I have been switched to 1 share for every 100 thatI had but still no value to them - are we expecting news? TIA
I'd also like to understand their plans if no offer by end of Phase 2 in terms of finances - we have enough to get us to end of p2 - then what?- still holding as I believe in what we have but, like most, frustrated with lack of clarity
Im not sure that he doesn't care - I think they were taken back to be told the truth - they may be great scientists but their managing of the business and comms have been dreadful (I guess they didn't like to hear that) - disappointed that it appeared to come as a surprise to them - good comments from the room - hopefully we will remove the current PR and consider changing the board responsibilities to allow John and Tim to focus on delivery of results and a CEO to deliver the messages and drive us to more positive places in the market
I guess we will never know whether they are or have been in a close period
"An AIM company must ensure that its directors and applicable employees do not deal
in any of its AIM securities during a close period. In addition, the purchase or early
redemption by an AIM company of its AIM securities or sale of any AIM securities held
as treasury shares must not be made during a close period.
This rule will not apply, however, where such individuals have entered into a binding
commitment prior to the AIM company being in such a close period where it was not
reasonably foreseeable at the time such commitment was made that a close period was
likely and provided that the commitment was notified at the time it was made.
The Exchange may permit a director or applicable employee of an AIM company to sell
its AIM securities during a close period to alleviate severe personal hardship"
- maybe if not in a close period they have been struggling to pay the increase in living expenses (energy, shopping and fuel) on their salaries?
TBF I don't think the Directors are allowed to buy any shares if news is imminent - which is expected
My view is that there is no news - not a huge amount of shares traded - MM's messing with us again - Good time for a top up I guess (AIMOA)
I don't think we were expecting the full results of the TOX results - just an RNS to confirm review completed and as good as first thought
Consolidation proposed primarily as penny stocks are fundamentally disliked by Institutions - Also Institutions like to trade in secondary markets - if we want to raise future funds this would be through Institutions - no surprises then
Thanks Max
Thanks Potnak - I'm not really complaining - it is what it is - I invested knowing the risk (especially being in AIM) and will continue to hold based on my research of the company - if it is not manipulation why such a big drop when Buys allegedly nearly doubles the number of sells - thanks
Could not agree more - good post and saying what many genuine holders are thinking
Like all assets, share prices change as a result of shifts in supply and demand. ... Essentially, if more people want to buy a share than sell it, the price will rise because the share is more sought-after (the 'demand' outstrips the 'supply'). On the other hand, if supply is greater than demand, then the price will fall - why in AIM does it happen that a company loses 17% value after being reported on LSE that SOLD 18,190,420 and Bought 29,765,644 - is this blatant market makers manipulation or is there a massive sell in the background that we don't yet know about? - Invested but don't get it - Thanks for any guidance on this
Am I right in thinking that the volume bought is higher than the volume sold today so far? MM manipulation at its best
Does the spread being so tight mean possible news? I though it went tight due to large trading volumes - TIA (Opinion strong buy)

Glad you are getting better Jamesp21 - your symptoms and timings are identical to mine for C-19 - I came out of isolation just over a week ago and do now have a sense of smell - (sadly I can also now taste the wife's cooking again (but only in the past few days)) - I now feel fully recovered - in our house of 5 I am the only one that tested positive
I am exactly the same - Double jabbed for over a month now - felt like I had a cold last Wednesday, lost my sense of taste and smell and did a home test (Negative) - went for a PCR test and Positive - now isolating til Sunday - felt dreadful the past few days but grateful that my symptoms are limited compared to others -Covid will be with us for sometime to come - So glad to be in this for many reasons GLA
Ultimately, the bid-ask spread comes down to supply and demand. That is, higher demand and tighter supply will mean a lower spread. ;-)
A large spread exists when a market is not being actively traded and it has low volume—meaning, the number of contracts being traded is fewer than usual. Many day trading markets that usually have small spreads will have large spreads during lunch hours or when traders are waiting for an economic news release - I'd go with the 11am update
Ouch - Thats painful!- all you can do now is; sit, watch and drink beer to numb the pain - get well soon
