Totally unclear what has been going on over at the Other Russian share. There is über scrutiny this morning of every word in the original suspension RNS two days ago..... And theories that it was called by AIM powers that be for a bit of due diligence....
For anyone musing about the likelihood of a flood of money arriving at GGP after the holders of "that Russian share" finally get their long promised takeover nailed down..... Their trading suspension was lifted at 1818 on Tuesday evening, with no announcement about anything.
Their BB got a bit busy after hours with comments!

Didn't hold out much hope of a cloudless image with the forecast not great. Pleasantly surprised we are generally in a bit of a gap:

Can't spy on the northern neighbours or really see our own activity (if any) north of the paperclip but it looks like drilling activity continues south of the dune, to the south-west of the main HAV area (both probably targeting Eastern Breccia at depth) and also more centrally. I think we are drilling right on the edge of the central site compound, plus a spot out to the east. No idea which direction they may be heading off to from there.... The world is their oyster.
All of the above is very tricky to be certain of with no radar images anymore and I'm working from a small screen....
@Samplank
...you obviously don't recall as vividly as I do reading a late night update from Oz and I got over excited that every page was headed Havieron 1 and said so on this board..... Whereupon it was pointed out the "1" was actually just a vertical line before the title of the detail on the page.
Doh!
Sentinel has delivered cloud free today.
The focus now seems to be along the south edge of HAV, and after attending "Extra Geology Morning Afternoon and Night Classes", given by Bamps, ambushing us all unexpectedly when our guard is down on this board, I would tentatively speculate we have moved the probing of the depths of the Eastern Breccia 300m further north.... Following that bulge that was growing on the last cross section.
Feel free to correct me....

....take out the space for the 1ink to work.
And thanks to all who showed up in Stirling last night for the gathering - smiles for all the Rangers supporters, and a carpet edge to lift and sweep things under for the West Ham fans. Will see if I can co-ordinate a non-footie night and a clear view of Dumyat for a sense of scale in a few months time for Gathering II.
@Hydrogen
The x-ray technology all costs money - including someone in the drill team who knows how to use it and read the results correctly. And bear in mind there were lots of promises that lab delays were going to be sorted about this time last year .....turns out they are persistent.
They played Apollo like they had previously played Nimtz (to the east of HAV). Great song and dance about how great the cores looked visually, I think they did a quick analysis at Radio Hill and sent select samples off to the lab while talking up their return to drill more Nimtz. Then when lab results came back with formal "nothing to see here" results everything was quietly dumped and the focus switched to getting clearance to drill Apollo. They appear to have talked up the visuals with pretty pictures of their cores next to HAV cores and no doubt sucking in lots of folks.
Every time news is released you should do a quick score: +1 for every mention of a valuable metal such as gold/ silver / copper/ nickel/ cobalt in one of their samples; and -1 every time they mention or compare themselves to a discovery they don't own like HAV with -10 points if they do it in an overlay or drawing. If the score is positive by the end of reading the update then great, if not then what exactly are you investing in?
Future updates may show less of this spin with the ARV drill teams equipped with in-field x-ray analysis kit to use in real time as and when drilling. Must be no signs of lab delays in Western Oz improving any time soon if ARV are going out with this bit of kit in hand.
There's lots of granites and sulphides out there. There ain't so many bits with gold in them.
Is that "The Kingdom.of....."?
Not sure where folks are coming from, one fessed up that Skegness was their normal stomping ground, but were going to be in Stirling on Thursday so are going to join the gathering.
Just a quick reminder that the Birds & Bees function room ( to the left of the bar and keep going) awaits us on this Thursday evening. I should be in position by 6.30pm sampling the food menu in a black cardigan - I'm still in a mourning period after the sad demise of the Sentinel 1 satellite.
I look forward to meeting some of the more northern readers of this board.
