Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
We're circa half a dozen at the mo.... Although Jambo is going to decide based on whether Hearts get through to the next round of the cup (or not)..... I think it's related to long journeys to support his chosen team within a short period of time.
Just a reminder that a GGP gathering is planned at the Stirling Birds & Bees on the evening of Thursday 5th May.
Please respond to this message if you fancy meeting some fellow GGP investors so I can firm up numbers for the venue, thank you.
Maybe diamonds are not forever?
Or in Vast's case never never......
Back into the bottom drawer. Maybe my >90% loss here will be educational one day. I can hear the hoots of laughter at the reading of my Will already....
More diamond news today on the Guardian website. It would appear more of the world's leading jewellers, the end purchasers of Russian diamonds, have taken it upon themselves to instruct their supply chain (including the Indian cutters and polishers) to not buy from Russia. They have about 30% market share.
More interesting is the industry trade body to promote ethics is disintegrating with disgruntled companies pointing out the lack of co-ordinated action and taking it upon themselves to act, and stepping down and being vocal about why.
@news
I think you are reading far too much into photos of visual sulphides.
And over-using CAPS LOCK.
Friday 11th March was when I downloaded the GGP info direct from their website. It may have been published on that day or a couple of days before. Page 5 of 19 has the following paragraph.
"Drilling to test geophysical targets outside of the known Havieron system is ongoing, including
evaluating the Havieron dolerite at multiple intervals north and south of the Havieron mineralised
pipe. HAD154 and HAD155 tested the Havieron dolerite some 400m north and south of Havieron
respectively, results are pending. Results were received for ZIP001 and ZIP002, testing the Zipa
target, located approximately 2 km to the north of Havieron and centred on a prominent gravity
high anomaly. No significant results were reported for the two completed Zipa drillholes, although
both holes intersected diorite like lithologies in metasediment, a rock type considered significant
to mineralisation at Havieron. Drilling continues to test targets along the Havieron dolerite dyke."
As I said, I am probably the most gutted that we don't yet have "Kalgoorlie 2"......
I also don't short. I find betting on things going up is a good enough way for me to lose money..... I'd probably lose money trying to second guess what may go down in value too if I started shorting!
@news
I said go to Greatland Gold's own website and pick up their own (full) version of the market info release - not via LSE or any other stock market RNS. Hunt the PDF for the word Zipa and then join me, I can assure you more gutted than anyone, to read that Zipa first two holes were blanks.
@news
GGP published Zipa results in their last RNS - if you read the version on GGP's website rather than the stock market version you will see Zipa to date has drawn blanks.
@TBF, you are more than welcome..... Specially since your member profile would imply you have been reading for two years and this mention of the Stirling meet has been your first post!
The drill locations scattered to the north and east of the explosives store could all still be occupied. Without any radar images it's almost impossible with Sentinel 2's resolution, to see the actual rig. You can only really see changes between consecutive images five days apart, cloud willing. So it may well be that they are back on Zipa, but drilling in the opposite direction towards your preferred target area, Bamps? And hopefully with a bit of directional wizardry not having to re-drill through all of the top cover again.
Not only was there blue sky over much of the UK today, but also above HAV. The satellite image looks the usually blotchy arrangement with splodges in between.
The only new activity was a rig in the north east and another in the east of HAV. I shall dream that they are both focusing on traversing through all of the Eastern Breccia and may both be candidates when reported at the end of the summer for "best ever" intercepts.
Our northern neighbours have started at their most easterly drill location where they lost the drill string last year. Fingers crossed they don't have another "doh!" moment this time round. After Zipa drew blanks the sensible money would be on Apollo also being a bit "meh".
.....there again, this is AIM, and I have never believed that anyone investing in a share on this market could be accused of being "sensible".
(Reminder) Central Scotland meet up - evening 5th May:
I have decided to give the cardigan a special outing and invite all interested GGP-ers to a gathering on the evening of the 5th May.
The plan throws up the obvious issue of trying to find a mid-way location that is not too Glasgow, nor too Edinburgh. The Harthill Services on the M8 probably do have a lovely branch of the Wild Bean Cafe, but I thought Stirling's Birds & Bees pub may be a more pleasant and easy to reach venue. It has a small ish function room that I have tentatively reserved for us, outdoor beer garden and food available. The Stirling mainline train station is not so far away and may be more appropriate for folks coming from further afield north or south.
Let me know numbers if you plan to attend by replying to this message so I can firm up the reservation.
A high copper price is excellent news.
It should inspire me to clear all the clutter out of my garage and take the metal to the scrappies.
Imagine a summer of being able to retrieve and park the lawnmower in there without having to move a bicycle and the BBQ out of the way first.
The Guardian has an interesting article today analyzing the effectiveness of the US ban on Russian diamonds.
Pointless in its current form is their conclusion. Rough diamonds are the bulk of what the Russian state controlled mining company export to India. They cut and polish the stones with a familiar list of High Street names the purchasers of the now "Indian" stones to use in their jewelry.
The ethical trade body who represent the diamond industry are nervous that, if no-one speaks up or proactively acts to block Russian diamonds, the consumers will take action themselves and effectively boycott the entire diamond industry. They obviously speak from the relatively recent knowledge of how African "blood diamonds" were viewed by Joe Public and the impact it had on overall sales.
