The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
I note that the usual crowd have turned up with their statements of fact that the current SP is definitely down to a placing of shares.
Just checked the posts from 3 April when the SP was 1.02 and 20 May when it was 1.175. They all with some certainty attributed those low SPs to a placing of shares. I have checked the RNS history around those 2 dates and see nothing relating to placings so if they were wrong then could they be wrong (again) now? I think so.
Hopefully we do not have to wait too long for the SP to start moving up again and then they can all climb back into their holes.

Talks on finance are a 2 way street here. This is not just about what HE1 wants and needs but what the Government wants and needs.
Here is a reminder of recent statements from the Government and the final paragraph does potentially provide a different roadmap to funding rather than another raise.
Mining Minister Hon. Anthony Mavunde has outlined a government plan to help solve the challenges facing small-scale miners in the country.
Minister Mavunde made the remarks today on May 9, 2024 in response to a question. Dr. Christine Ishengoma MP for Special Chairs who wanted to know the Government's plan to help the small miners in Ulanga District.
He added that the government's plan to help small-scale miners in the country, including the Ulanga District miners, involves a range of issues including
investing in extensive research to discover the presence of minerals in various areas to better guide the miners.
"Mr. Other areas are the granting of mining licenses to small miners; provide education on the use of the right extraction technology to increase productivity; low-cost mining service through the National Mining Corporation (STAMICO)," said Minister Mavunde.
He also said that another plan is to facilitate access to affordable loans for miners; and the opportunity for mechanical and equipment leases under the supervision of STAMICO.
Well the RNS and presentation were a bit of a damp squib for me. Was really hoping for news in both rather than the facts that have been out there for months.
Surely we are due some new facts and figures soon?
Her or - I prefer the positivity from someone who is invested and positive even if it appears a bit rampy. Far better than your constant negativity and deramping.
You should change your name to pot kettle black or just go and post on a share you like and are invested in?
Minister Mavunde calls for GST to be the first part of accurate laboratory information
Laboratory installed equipment and modern installations
GST workers to build more capacity
Regional labs built to move services closer to miners
Minister of Minerals. Anthony Mavunde said that the government under the leadership of Mr. President Dr. Samia Suluh Hassan has set out in the 2024/25 financial year to begin construction of a large, modern and well-equipped laboratory to be built in the Kizota area of Dodoma to match the pace of growth of the country's mining sector and the expectations of stakeholders in general.
The construction of a large and modern laboratory will coincide with the construction of regional laboratories and the capacity of GST workers to keep pace with the rapid pace of global technological development.
Mr. Mavunde made the remarks on April 24, 2024 in Dodoma at a joint session to discuss how best to work together all the staff of the Tanzania Institute of Geology and Minerals Research (GST).
"Our primary responsibility is to ensure that this institution makes a significant contribution to the development of the mining sector here in Tanzania.
He added that the lab data from GST should be reliable and accurate for miners a role that as a government cannot evade.

Funny old thing legalwolf, you never mentioned the expected pullback yesterday when ramping this stock on other helium chats. Wouldn’t trust you as far as I could throw a feather
A placing is one option but not the only one Dazed but you post with some certainty so assume you have a better source of information than the rest of us?
I also feel that an RNS is imminent for the simple fact that Lorna is presenting next week in London and I suspect she will want to deliver a presentation that doesn't just repeat what everybody already knows. The only way she can present new market sensitive information would be by issuing an RNS before hand.
