Even I was looking for details on how it is going to be funded in today's RNS and I could not find it but today's RNS is about MRE.

The plan will come and no doubt for me that the plan is going to be any big dilution. I just cannot understand how this can go down more than 10% as I write here. It is a short attack to load up at a cheaper price. I will keep adding here. Thank you for the drop!

I have never seen a stock going down after such a world class discovery! If the fear is that shareholders will be asked for money to mine it then you are being naive so they cannot mine such a big discovery all by themselves with shareholders money! It is really silly to think like that.

With such excellent MRE, there will be major mining companies lining up to do a join venture or take over completely for a premium price than what it is today! If they do a JV then it will still be a debt based financing and not equity based financing. Look at KEFI Gold on their financing structure.

This is easily going to a billion dollar company and current market cap is way too undervalued.

Minimum £6 is just too less for a bid. For any takeover offer to be accepted, it has to be minimum of £9 otherwise management woudl reject and major shareholder would reject it too. I think EZJ found/major shareholder, can't remember his name, he is p****d off with the share price and is now looking for otherways to take over EZJ. Atleast those shorts would not be open again anytime soon now or some may have opened it up again this morning after closing it following the bid news. Anyways the news should help now for this to go back to 550 soon. GLA

With such a confident RNS from Harry, the race to new highs for our SP has just began. This is going to be a billion dollar company in the making like GGP. This will explode to 5p very quickly once we have the sign off so load up guys, the train is leaving the station! With gold price at $4100, KEFI is the one that is underrated with just 150M market cap. Once the sign off lands mcap will double eventually at some point. It will be totally de-risked. The fact that they didn't RNS this week confirms that the discussions regarding financing deal with the banks and other investors is still on going otherwise we would have seen a RNS by now to say that financial deal collapsed. KEFI is obligated to release any such market sensitive information ASAP.

We should all read again the interim results RNS.

It is mentioned that sign off is "expected" in the "coming week". It means there is a possibility that sign off could delay but that delay is not like a month otherwise they wouldn't mention coming week. So sign off is still on the cards as close of play today otherwise we would have the RNS by now.

I think the next RNS is going to be deal or no deal for sign off unless they see that the delay is going to be more than a month in which case they would RNS to update the reason for the delay by more than a month.

If we don't get a RNS on Monday then pretty sure Harry is still preparing for a sign off and it could land anytime.

Either way it would be nice if Harry can provide an update on Monday.

I think if there was no sign off on the table then RNS would have been out by now about it.

Having no RNS about the sign off could also mean that it is still being worked out and slight delay on that. With so many parties involved not easy to commit a date. May be they missed typing s in the last RNS when they said in coming week(s)? :-)

I guess I need to open SIPP with HL and then do Bed & SIPP?

Also is this Bed & SIPP is about selling in one account and buying the same number in the new account?

I was checking my portfolio and saw nice increases and was wondering which of my 15 stocks have contributed to the rise and found the winner!

Now bit of headache for me about what to do with the gains in my fund and share non-ISA account! Have to pay CGT for anything over £3k? cannot move to ISA as it is maxed out. The gains in ISA are really nice so no worry over there.

Anyways good luck to all those holding still. All I needed to do was not to tempt and sell. Just tied your hands and sit. I can see £4.50 and beyond if the next trading update is good. Just need to be good. If the results are fantastic then blue skies and goes all the way to £5. ATB

With gold price rising, I do not think Ethiopian government nor the local investors want to play dirty games and lose all the trust and investment into the country. So I do not think any investor would want to jeopardize the deal in this last minute. Also in the previous RNS, it was mentioned that KEFI received interest to fund more than what is required as part of the financing. Like someone said here, KEFI holds all the cards. Unlike some of the other miners who are still exploring and finalizing MRE, KEFI is getting ready for production and there is gold in Ethiopia. Surely for the country to prosper, this is the time to be behind KEFI to show that the country is worthy of investment. With China as well acquiring licenses and doing deals already in the country, there could be a situation where once the sign off RNS lands, Chinese might gobble up all the KEFI assets for a nice takeover offer! Either way sign off RNS should rocket KEFI SP. I would say £250M marketcap is reasonable with sign off RNS that means double the current SP.

This is about the KEFI owning the shares in the subsidiary and also about the preference shares. This requires an approval from the KEFI shareholders as we will be having 80% ownership in the subsidiary. No matter how much some guys here want to shout about placing, it is not going to be a placing for KEFI shares. It is a placing for shares on the subsidiary. Some dumb idiots don't understand this despite explaining million times since past few weeks yet they scream for a placing RNS. We had MrH with his million posts on imminent placing RNS even though previous RNS was quite clear that it is the placing on the subsidiary. The meeting in November is about that part(placing for subsidiary company shares)of the debt finance package. God how many times I have to repeat this!

They have confirmed it is on track for October. Mainly there are No delays, which was what all the doom gang was expecting eagerly. Onwards and upwards now please. Steady rise from now on. All the SOLG, WSBN and GGP holders will start to load up here.

Having seen this down 10% from recent high, I bailed out today. I'm thinking that this could drop further as the budget date approaches. I might be wrong. For now will watch from sidelines. GL
