All governments however over the past how many years have been shambolic so irrelevant IMHO.

However looked at it with a free account and the thing that is flagged apart from the obvious to the wannabe ramper is the issue still there of debt.

So maybe it does what I wanted it for to look at little deeper.

My initial answer is no we need tidal.

However how did some get here as investors?

I got here via Uskmouth and then I have followed the emergence of tidal.

BESS has been a life saver and it will keep pushing the price up especially if the 2-4 hors is realised as this overnight can double the revenue and again boost the SP.

So if SAE in theory ditched tidal then it could work better or worse but OBS in the short to mid term it would boost the SP even more?

It all depends on the knowledge of the team for BESS.

Have they got what it takes to in theory...use other areas of land and solely plan, built and generate other BESS locations?

If the answer if a resounding yes, then the debate could have a very high % of reasons to ditch tidal.

From me this is an unbelievable statement when I feel strongly about the technology but at the moment I am looking at recouping my investment with a gain.

However I can also see a longer term vision where BESS is the foundation for the company in being the Tidal Stream leader for project managing tidal arrays.

There is also then the link between tidal to bess and more power generation.

It could become a conundrum

When it shot up that was circa via an investment potential of £180m for the Power plant conversion to sub pellets.

Yes we now are cash positive and the SP should be higher.

As soon as more good news arrive I think it will settle at an higher level and then push up further....hopefully

There is One Bess in construction.

There are potentially another 2-4 there.

This gives 1gw.

The first one is being constructed.

The 2nd one had full planning permission and there will be more as they make Usk a vital energy hub for South Wales.

Yes I sound cautious but that is because of where we have been with the SP over last 4 years.

More news about BESS will drive this up imo drastically.

Meygen must be the long term driver but from the RNS and also the turnaround from the videos who knows what plans are afoot.

I would like to stand corrected if this does Rerate at a lot higher and would not dismiss this but be happy after the dark days we have had.

SAE have opted to concentrate most of the RNS etc and the outputs to BESS.

This seems to be the money making option. However their flagships must be tidal given the potential available at Meygen.

I think again it comes down to major financing not being in place.

I am also surprised that they have not pushed the recent Proteus news more about 3mw

I also do not see a reason for a placing.

Basically at the moment from history the major issue is going to be financing Meygen phases 2 -3 and eventually 398mw.

The way they have doubled down with the 2x out in MWs at Bess and Meybess is a masterstroke.

When these are up and running and providing reliable energy then it cash cash cash.

Again the optimal way is Bess I at Usk feeding the projects with Tidal array at Meygen feeding Meybess and giving more bucks for the money.

Just imagine the money input from nearly 2gog at Bess and then a bigger tidal array of 28mw.

They are making decent £ now at Meygen with just a 4.5mws and 3 turbines.

4 turbine of 3 mw and it gets better.

The only elephant in the room with the tidal array is the turbine supplier and installers.

OBS at moment it is Proteus but things can change...

That's where the ultra good finance by a partner or similar is key..
