kopfkissen - Yes I mentioned in the letter that I would be watching very closely which way the directors jumped - retain or sell for massive profit - in regard to their upcoming option/warrant exercise date.Their decision in my opinion will demonstrate their level of long term commitment to the Company
The dumping of shares continues unabated and so the weakness in the share price is set to continue a while longer. The source of the shares, in my opinion,is likely to be the lucky recipient of the share options/warrants that were exercised at bargain prices very recently.I have this morning written to the Company asking if they intended continuing to grant heavily subsidised options/warrants in the future whether they could not apply restrictions as to when those exercised shares could be sold.I hope to get the courtesy of a reply !!!
kopfkissen - Sorry for delay but this site is so slow and hides posts up for hours before showing them !! Note 23 of the Annual Report which in this case is Page 58
kopfkissen - Its not strange if these shares came from the wad of warrants and share options recently taken up at 4.62 and 6 pence !!! And short term the share price could be under further pressure depending on what happens to these approx 120 million warrants and share options at THREE PENCE that expire in around three weeks time. The beneficiaries are hardly likely to forgo the huge profit rolled up in these !!!
Yes they did badly miss the target price - average closing price over the period was a feeble 7.78p - but they fudged it so that Edwards still received 66% of his options.I would say it negates the point of setting price targets but recently of course they no longer set any price targets !!!
Well if the New Shares were admitted to the Market today as per expectation the share price is showing extraordinary resilience which bodes well for the future !!
