Shorters are VILE EVIL SCUMMY TURDS. Only on the LSE can somebody sell an asset (house for example) without actually being its owner. Normally a visit from the Police will follow and the perpetrator would be hit with a charge of Fraud and correctly face imprisonment. The shorters have criminal tendencies if not an actual criminal record. They seek to destroy the Company they target by spreading false stories as to its financial health possibly causing its unjustified closure and the loss of a financial future for all those working there. What a truly evil despicable act worthy of imprisonment for the guilty party. The only supporters of the shorters are people of a similar criminal disposition - other shorters. Unfortunately these people have the upper hand in their fight with "decent" investors thanks to the toxic close relationship between Market Makers and Hedge Funds who do so much financial damage for their "get rich quick" clients. Obviously the FCA - the City Regulator - could put a stop to this situation but they are either too incompetent or as some commentators believe corrupt. In the meantime many private investors - myself included soon - will follow professional Pension Funds out the door and leave the City to continue down its path to self destruction. It will be satisfying to see the shorters fight out to see who are the scummiest of them all with the defeated getting their just deserts - NO MONEY OR JOB OR CAR OR FAMILY OR FUTURE - NOTHING !! I have funds to invest in shares because I worked hard for over forty years to accumulate it and I take it very personal if some lowlife tries to fleece it from me.

Anybody researching Clontarf Energy will quickly realise that the company has always been run for the sole benefit of the Directors. Since inception the triumvirate of Teeling, Horgan and Finn have paid themselves large salaries (without actually achieving anything) and awarded themselves very generous share option packages although due to their incompetence few of these actually became viable. Clontarf has always invested shareholders funds in areas where other investors sensibly avoid with its initial investments being made in Iran. It took SIX YEARS for the penny to drop that NOBODY could deal with the tyrannical Iranian rulers and having poured millions of shareholders money into the country they simply walked away. Such was the size of the void between the ears of the people that ran Clontarf and sadly the company has continued to be managed in the same haphazard way never having returned a profit and lurched from one disaster to another but the Directors have continued to do very well. Indeed the triumvirate continued to pay themselves £600 each every week when they had no actual assets to manage. Then we come to the dubious subject of Director loans and unpaid salaries. Without ever warning of their existence the need to repay mystery loans to the Directors suddenly appeared in their annual reports which along with the need at pay previous unpaid salaries which had already been declared as being paid renders their accounts as being beyond belief. Even the amounts claimed as being owed to the Directors in the RNS dated 12 January 2022 do not agree with the Clontarf official accounts which sums it up nicely. Personally I believe that very little if any of these debts are due factually and definitely not morally.

IN MY OPINION CLONTARF IS A COMPANY AND PARTICULARLY ITS DIRECTORS TO BE LABELLED AS DODGY AND AVOIDED.

Many many thousands of Private Investors that have been frightened out of the equity markets in London might return if these corrupt trading methods were stamped out but with the inept and probably corrupt Regulators that would need to enforce this then its a non starter unfortunately
