Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Norsco I am asking a legitimate question based upon fact. What is your statement based upon and what are you suggesting? Are you that "thick" to think a question on actual large trades will in some way influence a share price. You obviously have no understanding of the reporting process here, thus no need for you to comment. If anyone does know I would be interested to hear from you.
Zambia Minister of Mines and Minerals Development Paul Kabuswe said: “I am very pleased with the progress that has been made in forming the joint venture between Anglo American and Arc Minerals. Anglo American’s commitment to a significant exploration programme in the north-west province is most welcome.
“As the New Dawn government under the leadership of His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema, we have been relentlessly focused on revitalising the country’s economy and ensuring that the Zambian people will benefit and transform their lives by having significant foreign and local investment.
I look forward to following the progress in the months and years ahead as this venture aims to unlock further mineral wealth in our country.”
So there you have it. NorEscO likes to ride with the Donkey. What the two of them are doing here is anyone's guess. Sole purpose to scare investors with unsubstantiated statements. Stop it please, move on. I have 3M shares in this baby and will wait as long as is necessary to see it grow. Ups and downs as with life. At the casino last night I made £1600. Sometimes a loss. But if you do not lay a bet, your position will not change. I am happy with a 3M share investment.
NorEscO - Its a hold for investors who believe in the licenses and what is below the surface, you know like AA who have committed to $88.5M. They are not fools IMO. You say long term - how do you know? It could as easily be short term. What we do know, is results will start coming in soon.
There is always a Donkey who works so hard and never seems to achieve anything. Perhaps taking a risk now and again might change poor little donkeys' life. The drilling results will be out this side of Christmas. They are being checked by a third party now. And this is why I am holding. The downside is a single penny at worst. Upside, well that' s a totally different fact. Simplistically - "HUGE".
Thanks Jarv
Very interesting to hear from an expert in metals and mining Frank Guistra from Fiore Corp giving a key note in London at Resourcing tomorrow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6ePGvdmlmw. This is happening over 3 days A MUST-ATTEND FOR THOSE SEEKING ENGAGEMENT IN THE MINING SECTOR. Resourcing Tomorrow is Europe's largest mining event, dedicated to accelerating the energy transition. Taking place in London at the Business Design Centre on the 28-30 November now. Watching this, it is clear we are well placed to be at the forefront of opening up of the African opportunities he mentions. The Chinese, Russians and now USA are all keen to be in Africa for the same reason, as per investors here. I suggest any reader who has any doubts watches this interview. It would not surprise me if recent drops could be influenced by other players in the market for energy metals. As Frank states its a fierce competition for critical metals and for the players to secure their supply chains for the coming energy transition. He stated that the prices of mining stocks are ridiculously low and he believes this will rapidly change. In conclusion interviewer and interviewee agreed that the hunt for critical minerals, bodes well for the mining sector. Frank Giustra CM OBC (born August 22, 1957) is a Canadian businessman, mining financier and global philanthropist, who also founded Lionsgate Entertainment. He knows what he is talking about!
There are four main critical minerals earmarked by the likes of the International Energy Agency to play a particularly pivotal role: lithium, cobalt, copper and nickel. An article published 30 August this year in energy monitor is worth reading also. www.energymonitor.ai/sectors/extractive-industries/the-top-ten-critical-minerals-powerhouses-of-the-energy-transition/?cf-view
If you have shares, it seems experts are saying HOLD.
Oh another one appears. I do apologize, I was stating an approximate number and rounded up to the nearest hundred million to be invested by our JV partner. Yes $100,000,000. OK circa $90,000,000 if it suits you better Out of Luck. All I can say factually is that Arc negotiated a huge cash input from AA, circa $90,000,000! Now that's a pretty penny even if not quite a $100,000,000. Companies like AA do not invest this type of money unless they are pretty darned confident in what they are paying for.
Anyone reading will think you want something to go wrong. The only problem with this possibility is that in the previous 8 years there was no JV deal with a multi national and limited funds to drill in addition to no licenses in Zambia.
With Anglo American now pumping in circa $100 million they and their advisors obviously don't see the risk you suggest is inherent in this stock. Neither did Rothschild's when advising and negotiating with Arcm to get such good terms which AA I am certain were also happy with. So Ac123 unless you have some actual fact to back up your words or warning I suggest you crawl back too your troll cave and stop the BS
Why do you care to comment if meaningless in your opinion. And what value can anyone attach to your opinion? The fact is the post was about the market, not arc. The bb readers who are invested in a copper exploration/mining company here, may well be interested in relevant facts and data but not mere opinion from Travelcard. IMO you are one of the trolls here, for what reason I have no idea (possibly sour grapes) and feel an urge to be somewhat disingenuous to the Arc management, Anglo American, Rothchild's, WH Malcolm and shareholders of the two companies. All these people are confident that Copper will be mined on Arc licenses or none would be involved. I suggest when you have something factual that has been reported in the main stream media and is indeed negative to please share with us all. Until that point in time why not stop your BS and return to your troll cave.
We are in effect venture capitalist's. Rather than letting someone else (a fund manager) manage our investments we manage our own. We are independent and can do as we please. Why others such as Peggy should have any say in what we do or comment about our investment here with scorn is most odd. I am an investor providing capital to Arc Minerals because I believe there is high growth potential in exchange for my equity stake. I am excited by the prospect of huge returns on my investment. Anglo American no doubt feel the same about their investment.
Fundamentals remain the same. Nothing has changed apart from our long term security being assured and provided by the Anglo American JV deal. Trading volumes are low, no one is driving price either way. Just MM trying to make a market, make a turn. Up and down up and down until some news. There can only be good news and then the shares will stay up. The assay results which on probability will be positive could arrive in 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years and whenever it lands, after that point there can be no going back so if you are not in at that point you out! Take your chances.
Thanks Peg
As it happens yes I am in profit. I am only a small shareholder with just 3M shares but with my lowest buy in at below
2.5p thanks to the price being talked down I am happy. Happy to be in profit. Happy to be here with the deal completed and drills working 24/7. And happy to to know I might be a shareholder of a x10, x20, x30, x40, x50 position. Better chances that the national lottery. I have my tickets. Sorry you sold yours before all the good stuff happened.
Why are you still here?
Fact - Rothschilds were so confident deal with AA would would complete they offered a no complete, no fee contract
Fact - Deal has indeed completed and Rothschilds need to be paid
Fact - Prior to completion, drilling had already commenced and of course Rothschilds have seen everything
Fact - Certain creditors were recipients to circa £200,000 worth of shares
Dopey, sorry "Dokey" you obviously do not understand the value of good management. Due to the executives (there is no one else to do it) and the stonking deal they negotiated, the company is now worth £10M more than it was a few months ago. This value will only increase as drilling extends. For me a £9M upside represents good value against the cost of a dynamic board. I cannot imagine you have ever been dynamic but certainly you have bored many with your irrational statements.
Of course there will be an RNS to confirm that the millions from AA has arrived, that's a given. More importantly with drills in the ground working 24/7 and additional rigs on route with roadway infrastructure being prepared to allow drilling supplies to get the where needed look out for an early update on finds. I don't BS so will not comment of what will be reported but all the facts suggest there will be gold in there hills! Copper is todays Gold.
