HeresHopin, each to their own buddy. I like a peaceful life, and wasn’t (haven’t) invested heavily here for a quick buck. I only ever invest for 5, 7 & 10+ year investment horizons with pure play stock picking. And it’s served me very well indeed.
And albeit slightly contrarian, I don’t particularly like the retail sector. £15 and a quick buck you say? I see nothing else in this sector I like. So I wouldn’t reinvest. And certainly nothing as good as ASOS. I’d take £35 in 2 years with little headache as opposed to a quick buck and having to ponder (do extensive groundwork) to decide what to do with the loot.
I’ll be massively disappointed if a bid is forthcoming. I believe the company will get back to business within 2 years and was looking forward to the ride back up to £35.
That said, if a bid does materialise it’s high alert time, as the SP will go wild on any deeper speculation (or firm offer) and it’s at this point, razor sharp focus will be required by all.
Because there’ll be decisions that have to be made…
So KarlTaylor pulls through with the second best post of the day. Everything else is still just... piffle.
I no longer live in the UK. Was done having to look over my back post 6pm while walking home every night for fear of getting shanked. It is what it is. Great Britain? Do me a favour. Broken Britain. The high street is dead. Anyone been to Oxford Street lately will understand just that.
This company is GOLD STANDARD online retail. And has done nothing but weather the storm (ups and downs on operations) just like any other sector specific entity trying to operate through Covid (whatever the fk that was) and now inflation and war.
Get a grip ladies. Plenty of cash should they need it without having to tap up investors for it.
If you've been diligent enough to read between the lines, (it ain't difficult), you'll have seen there PLENTY of demand for this stock at these ridiculous prices. Buys after buys both today and yesterday, far outweighing sells.

This is how we do.
:)
sj74 can't help but think this momentum is driven by just that. I said previously that (assuming the board are good for their word, and I have no reason to suspect they're not) ASOS should continue to release positive news for the foreseeable. This only results in one thing; the SP returning to somewhat previous highs when all said and done.
Rudimentary Math dictates Slyvie is (should) be far north of £1.50 by years end.
