π’ Defence Spending Increase: Our reaction
"The unexpected formal commitment of an additional Β£75 billion for Defence spending by the Prime Minister today is one that industry and MoD welcome. As our world gets increasingly more dangerous, this unprecedented commitment to ensuring our collective security and the livelihoods of many throughout our country is necessary to our collective economic, social and national advantage.
Industry awaits confirmation of where this spending will be focussed - and the opportunities for our members and sector which provides some Β£9.8 billion in value add to our economy each year. Of course, the true value of our sector - providing our safety, security and way of life - is not one that can really be economically quantified."

Zenith ref 09.06 post it is not a stupid question I am surprised that nobody has asked before. They are the same company it is just the shares are traded on different exchanges. I believe that which broker yoiu are using determines which exchange is used.
This article and the changes to the jurisdiction of the Takeover Code it covers does not directly affect hARL but is being posted for information. https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=47cbbff4-effc-4db8-bc7f-a0c5de0ea7e9&utm_source=Lexology+Daily+Newsfeed&utm_medium=HTML+email+-+Body+-+General+section&utm_campaign=Lexology+subscriber+daily+feed&utm_content=Lexology+Daily+Newsfeed+2024-04-26&utm_term=
Just read this from CityAM it looks like the CMA is starting to flex its muscles a bit more recently. This might be benefiical to HARL. Some on this board like to say that HARL would be the subject of a takeover. This article would seem that all the likely suitorws may be wary https://www.cityam.com/britains-competition-watchdog-killed-more-deals-than-the-eus-since-2019/
Just seen this in an email from CityAM https://www.cityam.com/weapons-investing-is-ethical-says-sunak-is-he-right/?utm_source=CityAM&utm_campaign=dc2372f0b2-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2024_04_24_10_47&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_-dc2372f0b2-%5BLIST_EMAIL_ID%5D
I am not convinced how much Institutional Investors listen to what the PM says.
Ref 11.40 post he link is https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7188686694374653953/ there is a short video as well.

H&W Terramare, loaded on x2 amphibious excavators to in readiness to head out tomorrow. ππ #hwterramare #landingcraft #busybusy #workboat #newport #civils
Looks like the Terramare will be busy. I notice that the Valonia is on what Vesselfinder has down as Offshore Ops. Makes me wonder who is doing the frieght out of St Marys and Penzance.
I have been thinking something I should really not do this early. It is probably likely that we will not see a trading update until the 2023 accounts are published and the two will be done at the same time. I say this because JW did say that updates will be every six months. We will not go into whether that means we should have one this month as the trading statement was in November. So if trading updates are going to be in June and December so as to be six months apart that does tie in with the publication of the FY23 accounts.
This is another article on the implementation of the Procurement Act. https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=f90d2788-0176-48a5-8de8-6c95b6cfaaa6&utm_source=Lexology+Daily+Newsfeed&utm_medium=HTML+email+-+Body+-+General+section&utm_campaign=Lexology+subscriber+daily+feed&utm_content=Lexology+Daily+Newsfeed+2024-04-23&utm_term= This one does have relevance for HARL as it relates to Frameworks and Dynamic Markets. These relate to how HARL might get work from public authorites.
Xenor ref 01.31 post I checked the Belfast harbour website after reading your post and the SeaRose is still showing as leaving drydock on 4th July. Perhaps it is going elsewhere before going back to the White Roe oilfield.
