Hopefully, these are his exact words With regards to the lateral flow test,it is great to see that a Yorkshire company has developed a lateral flow test that is more accurate and less intrusive than the one currently being widely used .I have asked the secretary of state what plans he has to use this new test. As soon as i am in receipt of a substantive response ,i will be back in touch to advise you of it .

A flexible contract was awarded under Regulation 32 ..and the lack of sovereign capability to produce these products in the UK. The contract has the necessary clauses to exit at short notice.
