Oversold?
The MM need to constantly make more money on buys than they pay on sells.
They can afford to sell shares they dont have then balance it off later by dropping the price so people panic sell.
Would be great if everyone held their shares for the next 12 months & just watch how the MM play...especially if they are overselling.
Valirx will do really well long term as they have an excellent record & Longevity...not a Del Boy type of company who just appears with hype.
I mean... if nobody sold a share for 12 months...Valirx gets a partner & also develops a range... how would the MM play it (probably a consolidation or release more shares!)
After sirous minerals failed me, this has been great for getting through the past 6 months
The SP on aim doesnt always reflect news or company performance...
April was a low price
May to start of september around 60p then a rise to 90p
There hasnt been a major rise as all gradually with a solid foundation at each level.
I cant see a jump in price to indicate the price has already been increased pre news/results.
With the price looking consistent i can see this increasing again and maintaining this level of consistency as this will always attract new buyers.
Im confident with this... unsure why i didnt buy more at 60s where now 90s is my majority...
If this were to jump on the back of news then could we see a 5x jump on aim? Would be nice but looking at this then maybe 20p increases regularly
Aim stock are much more riskier which val has proved this week. No genuine reason for the price drop...then again maybe the rise was higher than expected.
The real question would be will val ever move to the ftse as would be more consistent share price purely based on the company performance.
Just reading a few messages, we arent shareholders in val...we have an agreement with our broker to the LSE/aim though it looks great for any company to have a solid share price as this reflects performance.
If 1 person bought 100% of the shares for a company they wouldnt be seen as the manor shareholder within the company. They would just have 100% of the shares the company listed.
The company makes money when they release the shares then its the stockmarket who trade them.
Hopefully Aim are smart enough to realise the life in Val & keep a steady share price with 20p the new bottom of it.rise to 90p next time down to 50p and stagger it that way.
Ive realised the importance to keep checking the prices every 30mins as no pattern to what will happen..
UNPREDICTABLE
Fun... id not use that word when i saw the huge rollercoaster mudslide of a drop....
No signs of it happening however would like to see a few more rises & drops happen like that simply to show the potential in this share & how it can bounce back.
Perhaps the MM simply overvalued it & now have found a level price for it.... at least the demand is there which should keep it stable for a long time to come...
60kx25p = £150k to val & the MM will want those shares sold soon so they can make money on them etc
It is peanuts in comparison to the amount floating so unlikely to make a huge difference
Do you think it will take years or have processes advanced.
People are desperate for improved treatments & with updated technology that is available would this not reduce the time drastically.
Im too scared to sell even after the drop & see an increase from 8.5p to 30p today because it could so easily move up at such a pace.
The ceo & directors havent sold out yet & they would have made a huge gain at 60p.
Has anyone else read on the valirx website about 60, 000 warrant shares released tomorrow or have i read that wrong (wont allow me to post the link)
Today people have no patience & will want val201 developing fast so not years waiting.
+ talks will have been going on since the start of val201 for buyers/partners ... watch this space as expect to see quick progress
MM want to generate trades which can explain the volatile share prices at times. Would they want 1 investor to keep a share from 9p all the way to £1.20 or for that share to be traded as often as possible along the way?
If the 9p share has a £1.20 destination then the more times its traded the better it is for the MM.
Its not in their interest to make 1 SH a huge proifit & will play on greed/ambition (63p to sell but I bought more at 66p!=prime example) to sell that share as often as they can.
By the time it hits £1.20 it will ensure that they haven't lost out any money on it, I mean who wants to give free money away!
PATIENCE
The longer you keep a share then its not good for the MM as nothing is happening so a spike in price to get it moving as momentum works & starts the trades again.
Its not in the MM interest to drop VAl price too low as the shares are circulating pretty well at the moment.
Its like a pyramid scheme where the last person in pays for the losses previously so its the MM interest to keep the shares trading for as long as they can.
This is why i suspect Val to fluctuate between 20p & 50p prior to Q4 & then spike to perhaps 80p pre release. There will be people willing to buy at 80p & why wouldnt you. The share price is rising & looking good....
Today its hitting a 28p mark again & dropping but keeps bouncing back. Its like it wants to take off again but hasn't the energy to do so.
To me that suggests there is something happeneing that the MM are aware about but unable to confirm. I would suspect a buyer/partner/investor in Val especially with Covid & the pressures to find treatments along with Cancer too. There is pressure which companies haven't the time to research from scratch so this pressure should cause them to turn to Val products :)
Selling to buy back with Val is a risk as Ive been tempted to sell out at 25p with the risk that a moment later the price hits 40p & I wont get back in. By keeping them as they drop hoping they will rise could be dangerous as they could lower to 10p again.... as mentioned on the 25p warrents I doubt this to happen.
My only regret was not selling as they plummeted to 50p but then again how this share plays it could have rebounded to £2 minutes later.
MM want to make money, SH want to make money.... Each trade makes the MM money....
The MM want to keep SH interested in this stock & will keep this rollercoaster going, its all about having the stomach for it. I felt low last night on the comedown of the share drop as it just happened....
The price will be a rollercoaster as MM & SH make money. MM will drop the price low enough so SH sell (25p) then increase the price gradually & enough for them to buy back in (30p) & so on. The MM never really lose & the SH profit margins are down but enough to keep hoping.
Short term history on Val shares - this period the shares hovered around 10p before a rapid increase to around 15/20p before dropping. Seems to have been a pattern to drop & rise again so perhaps that is the case.
Long term history shows the same however there must have been a few consolidations in there as cant imagine the price being that high. Based on all this even if I hold them the chances are it will hit a high again.
EXERCISE OF WARRANT 2/10
http://tools.euroland.com/tools/PressReleases/GetPressRelease/?ID=3821597&lang=en-GB&companycode=services
To my understanding these will be issued at 25p per share x 60k, with this in mind, why would the share price be above 25p as MM would instantly lose out however would allow a small gain at 30p. Similar to the 15p share warrants & similar pattern to the prices. Once the warrants executed the price shot up again. No doubt there will be 50p warrants in place too as seems a great way for Val to generate income & MM win too as more shares floating to sell.
Based on this alone I expect this to have caused the share rise to be able to exercise the warrants.
INVESTORS LOOK AT SHARE PRICES
Any potential investor/partner into Val201 will look at the share price so a low price would be no good to them. A highly traded share will look good & at a stable price. Bear in mind once they come on board the price rises it looks really good on them too.
DR DILLY
Did she purchase the shares to make a profit or perhaps to have as a loss against other gains (within this tax year) then to make the profit next year where other capital gains are low?
Likewise, she invested knowing the news released at Q3 was the same as the MM/SH all knew. Yet, kept the shares like other directors, not making a loss & not selling at the high price.
Bear this in mind, talks are about how they are looking for an investor/partner, Dr Dilly has kept her shares (other directors) WHY...
The news released in Q3 was no different to the news that we all knew that caused the spike so they knew before the release. Likewise, they would have been working with this data/info to negotiate a trade/partner behind the scenes & I would expect an announcement within the next few weeks.
Why else would they keep their shares or purchase as many based on the Q3 info?
They say they are looking for investors/partners but how far along the process are they.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Val 201 has come this far, why would they not take it to the next level.
Research without development.
How many other companies are under more pressure to deliver & how convenient is it to buy val201/301/401 to use on their products.
Last week there was plenty of hype to where the share price could go. I kept hold & bought more at 66p.
SERIOUSLY.... Why would I sell them at 66p, pre results & with the upward movement.
Forget hindsight, logically looking at it there wasn't much reason for them to drop like this.
Had I sold at 63p & the share price moved to lets say £1 id have been a fool to sell & regret it.
At 63p, even if the results were to have a negative effect i seriously couldnt see them drop below 50p.
What I think we all failed to realise & looking back this may have been the case but the news released yesterday which we had all been waiting on was basically what we had known already.
Did the MM increase the share price based on the news they already had knowing that the news to be released wouldnt be any different & could reduce the price once released.
Based on the news we knew & the price increasing why would I sell at 63p....it seems a logical decision to have kept them & anticipate an increased price
