I read penguins posts. Seems like a clever individual and undoubtedly knows more about O&G than me. In the final analysis his valuation/ opinions on UKOG may me closer to the truth than a lot of the hype on here. I do however think he misses somewhat the mechanics of AIM and how sentiment driven it is. I'm sure that those that bought UKOG at 1p back in 2016 and sold out 8p while BB operations were on going probably don't care too much about the fundamentals. Personally I think that UKOGs business is a solid one, the biggest imminent risk being SCC Not SS! I also know for a fact that there have been several opportunities in this companies history to make a packet and I fully expect that to be repeated.

Quincet reading your posts I like a lot of what you have to say and clearly you know more about valuation of oilers than I do. Your opinion of UKOG on the whole seems positive. If you don't mind me asking why aren't you invested? 0.95p at the moment and I think most would agree that we can expect a decent uplft when the rig arrives and drilling starts. Site activity would indicate that is imminent despite the latest RNS stating "summer". We all know that the assumed rig (28) has finished at west newton but can appreciate that SS would not want it common knowledge the exact delivery date due to the potential for the great unwashed to gather. Even if its only in for the initial hype when the rig arrives it seems that one can expect to make money here? Are you waiting for it to drop - perhaps angs rubbing off on UKOG further, before news turns positive?

Clearly Kimmeridge is technically challenging and horizontal drills perhaps compound this, but HH has proven commercial flow can be gained albeit from the vertical well. I'd like to think that by now UKOG have learned enough to successfully drill a horizontal to exploit the kimmeridge. Even if they had problems, HH could still be a company maker from Portland alone!

They did use acid. It was specifically added the EA permit last minute. The RNS states brockham needs fracking - pretty much however I'm struggling to get past the fact they used acid when UKOG had already found and categorically stated this was not compatible with kimmeridge limestones... the mind boggles.

Great post Quincet9. Agree completely that valuation and MCAP can vary significantly. This has been up to 350 million MCAP even before any EWT at HH. Purely on sentiment and potential. Personally I'll take those over fundamentals if it means this can get to that kind of MCAP again! Add fundamentals (CPR)/ production figures to good sentiment who knows where this could go in the next couple of years. I think with SOLO gone and the rig coming this will turn now. If the anticipated numbers can be flowed from HH2 we could be back to 3/4p quite easily. Add big flows from the kimmeridge side-track and maybe we'll get to that 350m MCAP range again!

Hive of activity. Would not surprise me to see rig on the next 10 days. Rig 28 has gone from West Newton and I cant see it going to another job before HH. I believe it’s being serviced prior to delivery to HH. SS is keeping his cards close to avoid disruption from swampies. game on IMO

For some here I guess jumping back in. I lost a considerable amount of money her getting out at 2p and it baffles me why anyone in a similar situation would buy back in? What is it that you think angs now have that will bring value? Balcombe for which they have not even sought permission to ewt or the £1 gas field? I wish everyone here the best of luck I really do but I would seriously consider not putting anymore money here. Try a change of scenery -UJO? Core sample findings before ewt this quarter.

Why did Angs perform an acid wash when it was common knowledge that this contributed to the failure at broadford bridge? Can’t help thinking this contributed to failure here too. The effort to reperf was also carried out at B.B. if memory serves so the parallels are undeniable.

This and the next post on balcombe is exactly why this is ubinvestable. No credit rating / nothing on the horizon except the ageing gas field that cost £1 but is worth 8m - yeah right. That gas field was bought to keep the lights on cause they already knew brockham was a failure. Keeping the lights on means they can lure more PIs. I’d be surprised if angs ever ewt balcombe. They will need to sell it IMO

Your right warty. Assuming angs survive they have nothing on the horizon. This will drift and they will sell balcombe. The gas field is about keeping the lights on / paying the board while they try snag new PIs. Sell out and stay away. Best advice I can give.

did it as soon as the RNS dropped. was still showing 3p but NT to trade. normally I wouldn't go near it but knew this would free fall on this new. 2 p was worse than I hoped for but as soon as it went through this was at 1.8 so i'll take it. this may dead cat bounce later today. my advice- take what you can get!

You reckon? The problem is angs don’t know what that are doing. They will fk up balcombe. In fact I doubt they will ever get to balcombe. They will sell to keep the light on. No ii will touch them following the last placing. Uninvestable is correct and I’m almost happy about getting 2p on a NT trade for my holding. Catastrphe.

And you are right about the placing shares. No one will touch them now.

I’ve sold up at 2p and will be happy I Salvaged that in the coming weeks. Never again. I just hope this doesn’t drag ukog down too much who have their ducks in a rows. Over to UJO for me now placing out of the way.

But it’s back to 20p, they’ve got over 2m additional funds, and you had opportunity to buy at placing price! Honensty just no pleasing some!

Think that habit may continue. It’s at placing price already!
