Looks like there is a lot of shorting of this stock. It will only end in tears. SP has dropped considerably already.

No one's making money selling now. Makes better sense to hold and wait for improvement. Is Foxtons going under? I don't think so. Is the housing market drying up? I don't think so. Is the rental market drying up? Likewise.

So - the silence indicates not a lot of confidence. Doesn't surprise me. Sentiment is currently poor for FOXT. Maybe this will be looked back at as having been a good time to buy or maybe not ....

This goes ex-divi tomorrow close of business. With a divi over the year expected to be 13.3p giving a return on current share price of 5.3% and a low share price is there an upside to the FOXT share price? I know there are a couple on here who are dead set against FOXT but I was rather looking for more balanced views.

What do you call a collapse? I saw a small decrease. You should try Hong Kong where I was in the 90's! Now that was a collapse! There was negative equity for some in the U.K. but if you had bought in the mid 80's you would still have been in profit. Even taking into account small reductions over the last century property prices have risen inexorably, with small dips.

What do you call the current decline? Closed at 255p today. Down 13% since Tuesday close - when it closed at 293p.

Those fundamentals have been there for years, decades even. Even so property prices in London have continued to rise. Affordability doesn't seem to be an issue. It should be, but just isn't. And yes there are still more foreign buyers. The Chinese especially see London as a good investment.
