I am wondering about increase of flights to Ibiza 2024? Accommodation is already very tight. Maybe Tui going to build a few more hotels? Maybe I go back into Heidelberg Cement Haha :)

Cool. I like you doing my homework for me!
3 things to bear in mind whilst doing calcs:
No way German govt was going to overcharge interest to a national treasure EZJ fall coincided with ‘cretinomics’ EZJ fall was when we all nervously waiting for next covid spike (was a big wave not a spike in the end)
Off to gym. The stock market can do one for 2 days Except obvs keep an eye on Lang and schwarz

Morning C26
It’s maybe more interesting to compare TUI with EZJ… EZJ did their raise at 410p and stock fell… Lundgren sorted out the debt mid pandemic and now things looking very stable. .2bn net debt is ok as at end March and significantly better than Tui. I agree everyone should buy with extreme caution.

I feel sure UK will have a worse recession than EU and many people will go on cheaper holidays but Tui Europe customers will cough up whatever is required to get family holiday in. I bought 25% of my planned investment this morning, rather than waiting til Monday. We shall see.
Back in the 90s when I knew the exact price of all family holidays in peak season the reasoning was this: Had a fab year - go to Forte village - where they actually dry off your skis before you strap in Had an ok year - go Mark Warner - guaranteed fun Just about managing - go First Choice Skint - day trips to Margate
So there’s a bit of recalibration going on here. People will prioritise holidays. Tui has definitely moved upmarket. Have they gone too far?
I’m really grateful for the financial people here - in the end you go with your gut. Am literally not sure whether to wait for Tui to drop or just stick the waiting 20k into EZJ where I have absolute faith in a slow and orderly rise. Tui has more potential upside. Totally undecided.
This is just opinion ok? Think stock will fanny around with CPI and general fear of 24th etc…. If goes anywhere near 5£ am going in hard and expect will not be alone. GLA
This is exactly what we do……report in, friends, family, whatever! My children aren’t allowed to even buckle up until the empty seat count is logged! Hope it was a great holiday :)
Bit of a side issue/off topic…. How do you get to Frankfurt on EZJ from London. You can’t. Lufthansa and BA got that stitched up. Can’t find anything cheaper than £250 for sensible o’clock departures.. EZY can grow organically by picking up routes. Go Jo!
Much disagreement around kitchen table today. Think the baby will be over £7 mid May. But frankly I’d had enough stress. Now am out am sure she’ll move up quicker. The boyfriend was begging me not to sell. GL and see you on 24th!
