The family of British aid worker James Kirby, who was murdered in an Israeli strike in Gaza, say they are "utterly heartbroken" by his death - while the relatives of John Chapman say he was "subject to an inhumane act".
After an initial spell in the British Army, including tours of Bosnia, Kirby re-joined years later as a reserve and then served with The Rifles infantry regiment in Afghanistan. Describing Kirby's willingness to help anybody in need, McGuire said: βHe knew he had to go [to Gaza]
