how can you read my 'rambles' if you have ignored me?
Asking others to do what you wont do yourself. Nice!
Alex is CEO of one company AFAIK. And non-executive chairman and director of others.
'
That is VERY different to Colin Bird. Who is effectively the CEO of at least 3 companies.
Colin Bird has taken so many people for a ride for so long and now as he approaches 80, he is stepping down from Jubilee.
Lets see how long he can keep the gravy train going for.
Im actually impressed by his audacity and how many people get suckered in by him for so long.
Kudos.
Oh I forgot, sometime ago I said that a contact in Mexico had seen some movement from UFO there. It was a false flag. Another company in the same state. (he works in the construction industry and was there for work). However, what he has been able to do is point me into the direction of where I can view applications etc in the state. Everything is shut down for Xmas now but i'll email in January to see if I can get a paper trail of UFO's applications/permits etc to see if it tallies up with what BBG has been dubiously claiming.
He must know something we dont.
Earlier this year I had a coalition of quite a few big PIs, mostly from twittersphere, and that is probably the only reason that the BOD got back to me- The threat of an emergency AGM being called by the necessary 5% shareholders. Many have since moved on and plus the dilution, its probably a lot less than 5%. Im going to wait till the EH silver assays before deciding to reboot the group and start putting pressure on the BOD again- posting and speculating on a BB, while nice to vent sometimes- wont get you anywhere constructive. Once you are a block- the BOD sit up and listen.
I'm currently messaging my PI group to see who is still in and i'll get back to everyone here.
Hope you have had a great Xmas and will be an even greater NYE
1) First with the positives- Hanc*ck going as well as can be. I like this new guy they have on board and is confident he can drive this forward.
2) Continued great PR and engagement
Yes it is the main reason most of us are here- but that is the 'only' thing that is going well at the moment.
1) Donovan- failed. BBG trying to make it sound like more successful, larger and experienced Capstone didnt have the wrong drilling strategy and it is still a viable option. Yet not a single hole drilled there since by UFO.
2) Other Mexican assets- it was 13 months that BBG told us that we would get the permit 'any day now'. He is shamelessly hid under the excuse of COVID delays- when I contacted the Mexican Ministry of Mines- it appears that this 'mining shutdown' was a figment of his imagination.
I think BBG will continue to use Mexico as a useful excuse to raise money and 'bulk up' the potential profile of the company to look like it has more avenues than it actually has. The geologist they hired in Mexico probably costs them nothing and is just a way to keep us hooked in.
I dont believe they have any faith in Mexico- which is fine- but Id prefer some clarity on the issue
3) EH delays: if you recall- some time back- BBG let slip in an interview that he had seen the initial assays from Phase 1 drilling at Hanc*cok. There was no RNS released. I contacted Aliens and reminded them of stockmarket rules. Within 36 hours they put out the RNS of the initial assays. I find it hard to believe it is a coincidence. Now can we believe that they havent seen ANY of the EHs assays- 3 months after? I will leave it to you to decide. But the previous episode shows just how 'honest they are'
4) lack of BOD skin in game. Max tried to hype up a middling 60k buy of shares by Mark CLayton as evidence of confidence. But it is a drop in the water. I have corresponded directly with Mark and one other director when the SP was last in its boots- their response was that they had 'full faith in Bill'. My follow up question is why the paucity of BOD buying if they have so much faith- never received a response to this question.
5) As for this current PME buy from Artemis. I dont agree with it all. We swapped a slice of a pretty much 'dead cert' for a highly speculative prospect that will cost ££££ to develop and drill. The fact that fanatics like Max think its a good deal is no litmus for the real world market which clearly didnt like it. The fact they waited just before Xmas was a highly cynical deliberate ploy. Id be interested to see if there are any links between UFO BOD including BBG and any of the Artemis group- would probably be not too hard to fill in the gaps. The CEO is also a London based Aussie geologist like BBG. Here is the BOD https://artemisresources.com.au/company/
6) TKIA mentioned on twitter that UFO has been continuously engaging with its TR1 holders....
Also- delibarately waiting till just before Xmas to drop this under the radar. Quite a few companies did the same too.
Horrible deal that will/has result in YOU losing money. I wont repeat what ive written in another post but it is there for everyone to see.
Remember- the market is a better indicator of what invetsors think than a BB.
Smiller, I was similarly dissapointed.
What we need to look at, is if there is any link between any of the BOD and the company they bought it from. I wouldnt be surprised if there was. That would the classic AIM mining play. Ask your friend Colin Bird.
We were made to believe that the placing was for Han**** etc, and we couldnt understand why it was necessary based on our bank balance...then it made sense.
And you are right- this is going to cost a LOT to prove up and is far from guaranteed.
Think its time to resurrect my investors group.
This is turning out to be some grand finale for Colin Bird
Im going to see if i can contact some of the old investors from XTR on twitter. They had heard some stuff about him too. About his business dealings in Africa.
I did say I wouldnt post here again but im intrigued about what is happening with CBs companies right now.
I mentioned before, I was an investor in XTR some years back and a bunch of us lost quite a bit of money with CB.
The SP is still only half of what it was when he took over and was as low as almost 1.25 this time last year. So...even if I had held onto my holdings- i would still be down- which is what the problem many of you will find with CB. Maybe you get some great news today- and the SP soars to 0.25. That is still way down from when he took over and i suspect many of you were conned/spiked by those Zambian assays I saw which ended up being a false hope.
I get the feeling more and more people are waking up about Colin Bird and he is finally beginning to run out of luck. He had a good innings living a luxury life at the expense of PIs for some years but he probably pushed the boundaries to often, for too long.
I recall once the SP was declining and we hadnt heard from him for a while- and someone saw a photo of him on social media- dressed to the nines at Royal Ascot (he invests in horses apparently). That image said it all- we were losing our investment while he was swanning around like a sheikh.
PS: I still think that Kwadoku guy is the same guy who lost tens of thousands on XTR some years back even though he denies it
Well well well
Not surprised at all
Was a very slippy character back in the day.
Im intrigued how he will get through this- his luck may have finally run out. You keep playing the same games for all these years- you wont always get away with it.
Back in the day, there were also the same hopeful/less people who would defend CB. It made me wonder if they were real people. The SP just went down and down.
Ive had my say- but id suggest anyone to do their proper research before falling for CB. He has a long and very well documented history. And the beauty of modern tech- the data trail is all there for you to see- in twitter/fb and probably here if you can look back far enough.
I was invested in XTR some years back and CB made promised after promise- ramp after ramp...delay after delay...stagnation after stagnation. Have seen it, done it, got the badge. I was more on twitter back then but if you search for Colin Bird on twitter you can probably find out what was said at the time. I cant remember his handle, but one twitter guy invested tens of thousands and saw his investment decimated. I wonder if its this kwadoku guy??!!
It changed the way I look at investing and I learned to really dig up anything I can find before committing money.
Even back then it was clear that this share was being played by some very smart people and it looks like the same as happening some years later. Those who stuck, eventually sold out near the bottom. I see XTR has rebounded but that is after a very long time.
Just be careful. And be aware that not everyone is who they claim to be on here. And not everyone does what they claim to be on here.
CB is an elderly man who is doing way more than even a younger man can do. He likes to talk in technical jargon- its part of his ploy. He has even more on his plate now it seems. It became apparent to us, that his main goal was to fund his lifestyle and I wish I had known that before.
Saying that- would be a decent punt for a few hundred £s if you had it. Anything you could afford to lose. This could be 2 or 3 bag in a month or to.

Im out
Yeah I am out of this. Was looking to make a quick buck and im happy to admit it. Looks like Colin Bird has not changed at all.
Should resources including human capital- be focused on getting our current developments of the ground?
Or is this a good long term play? I tend to be immediately suspicious about these acquisitions that are invariably sold as 'great opportunities' by the CEO.
There is a company called ECR which talked a lot and issued a very unpopular £5 million placing. Went on a bit of spending spree with this money, to the extent they were buying their own drills and buying property for the team members to work from- yet never delivered to its investors. Its SP is now about 1/3 of its peak last year.
The CEO passed away a few weeks ago and the SP has declined even further.
Sometimes having too much cash can lead to bad and wasteful decisions being made. Let us hope we dont go the same way as ECR.
As always- DYOR, and by this I dont mean just taking everything BBG says at face value.
I did indeed say that the money raised couldnt possibly have been just for the current programme of mining since we are not due to go back to the field till Easter.
It is looking a little more clear now.
Now saying some move in Mexico 'in the new year'
In reality- Mexicans take Xmas very seriously and any significant programme would have had to start a while back or start in January. Its common for companies to shutdown for a whole 2-4 weeks solid over the festive period.
Remember it was my contacts who were able to tell me that the Mexican Ministry of Mines and Environment were working pretty much normally- when everyone here was under the wholly naive belief that the delay was due to some 'shutdown' as Bill indicated.
As always- i encourage everyone not just to swallow everything BBG spins, but to make some effort to get on the ground information or alternative sources of information. Remember- BBG is not Santa Claus.
AIM is dirty as hell. The rampers/pumpers work in gangs- because of the low volumes traded compared to the main market- they are able to manipulate the price and sell off at the peak while still pumping the company. When they dissapear- it means they have cleared. Then they move onto the next.
I think a lot of the coordination is organised on telegram.
Thats why companies become 'hot news' for a month or two, even without major news, then suddenly go away
I also wondered about IAMGOLD. Very little from them
Even the *INFERRED* maiden resource was done independently by Oriole, not the actual miner- which raises suspicions.
Is it Oriole making it sound promising that it actually is?
Where did this Feb date come from?
I wonder when we will be done with next stage of drilling in Cameroon?
