Squad/i am not bothered if its bought out or not. I like it so iam happy to hold. Size matters and we are competing against the big boys in the US. The way our management have been shaping up,it looks as though they would like a deal. My average is 450p,so anything over a fiver would be ok for me

Squad/as soon as Jacob was appointed, i bought more. There will be a lot of M+A in this sector this year. I do expect this to be taken out.

grotty/ you were probably wasnt around in 2000 tech bubble. It happens. It happened to one of mine a few years ago(Tremor) i followed it all the way down to 97p. The last lot i sold was for 660p,i made a killing. So dont get depressed,i know its gutting but try to bring your average down. The fundamentals havnt changed only the SP

Lending/ive never known anybody who can predict the market. Although many on these boards think they can(i dont include you with them). Sure they get lucky a few times like the punters in the betting shops. We all know whats going on with the macro stuff but at the end of the day its about earnings ,if the earnings go up the SP will go up,

I have no interest at all what the SP is doing. I like to see it go down because it gives me an opportunity to buy more. Remember you are buying a company not a SP.

The only time i would worry about my investment in Dark( and iam holding 150K shares)is if it missed on earnings. For me the drop in the SP is a buying opportunity

Inflation is falling ,interest rates will follow next year. Sentiment on growth is negative ,that will change when the FED pivots. Use the falling SP to top up. The value of this is all about earnings and i expect them to be good. M+A will be rife in this sector in 2023

Berylfu/ no one can advise you what to invest in without knowing you. We all have our own strategies. I am only holding 3 stocks LSEG,GSK and DARK. The only advise i can give you is to keep 20% in cash,so you can take advantage of any sell-off , especially in this market.

Lending/iam sure your right,i thought the same. Sometimes the SP is going up as you are buying. The whole thing is a dark art. I use EQI,they are usually ok

stup/ ive never had trouble before,after all,its not a small cap. Anyway iam not too bothered.I just think the FED will pause rates early next year,which will give growth a lift. Add to that we might get some good news for a change, China opening up the war in the Ukraine ending. 332p might look real cheap in 6 months time. Anyway iam in for the long haul. I dont trend to sell out,i do top slice and add. I like this and the fundaments havnt changed

i bought another 30K shares today,i couldnt buy them in one go,so it had to be 2 lots of 15K. Also i couldnt get near the 327p the best i could get was 332p, So these prices you are seeing are just not there

Yeah,i dont like it,sure you need incentives but they are taking the mick. Mick Lynch has said as much. They are not the only ones. Tremor are doing the same(i sold out of them 18 months ago). Especially with the directors selling

This is cheap compared to its peers in the US. With the exchange rate, the market obviously thinks its going to be taken out

Lending/ i agree,i still read chapters 8 and 20 of Grahams book from time to time. Like you iam a big fan of Buffett and Munger and value investing. The trouble with tech growth stocks theres a big question mark over forward earnings, thats why Buffett never bought into the likes of Google and Amazon which he admits was a big mistake. Like you iam not interested in the SP now. I am happy with the management, the SP will correct going forward on earnings/profits

Watchman/ive been investing for over 40 years,so my strategy has developed over that time. You answered your first question yourself. As for your second. I have no idea where the SP of DT is going. I said ,i wished it to go down to 10p. I think DARK should be about 650p now. If there wasnt a war going on and the FED wasnt raising rates,iam sure we would be looking at something like that. Anyway,it is what it is,take advantage of it. As GS say "never waste a good recession". One day the war will end and the FED will pivot. One thing for sure, the spend on cyber security will not drop

Lending/the market sets the price ,its up to us to go long or short. At the moment(in my opinion)the market is waiting on the FED and the affect of the rise in interest rates. Everything is under pressure ,we are probably going into a world recession ,so that has to be put into the equation when valuing a business, Personally i would like DT to go down to 10p. I am holding 110K shares with a average of about a fiver, so i am well underwater Iam not bothered ,i will buy on the way down

Ive given up trying to value DT,let the market do that. "the market is never wrong our opinions often are" All i know is billions will be spent on cyber security in the next few years and i believe DT will be one of the winners
