To be honest, the rise is great but don’t want it to rise by too much cos I have a significant amount to buy in a few weeks :) The positive news to come is going to be huge in my opinion.

TonyT26, are you suffering from repetitive strain injury? Just wondered.

As a newbie investor I see this as nothing but a positive. It is an obvious incentive to the BOD (who have worked wonders in the past) and if they gain so do we. I also like the idea of continuity and sustainability at the top which this also encourages. The worst thing in my opinion is if there is a change at the top as this obviously creates uncertainty.

Wish I had more to invest right now but won’t have anything until 2 weeks. For once my timing is bad :(

Although ‘positive divergence’ sounds cool come to think of it.

Think I’ll just stick to all the positive stuff I know about SML, knowing that I’m going to be in this for years and……gut feel (plus when my wife gets her new kitchen).

I find it amazing (but great!) that people on here talk about topping up at 3.75p. I only got into SML towards the end of Oct 25 and half my holding I bought at 0.79p. The rest I got for 1.08p, 1.69p, 2.08p plus 15% at 3.12p. I know I shouldn’t be greedy but I envy those here who bought years ago at roughly 0.30p. 10p plus would be fantastic but extremely pleased considering only started investing 4 months ago and my first pick was SML.

Yes Forensic, i think that everything you say makes sense. I often watch the Zak Mir Trader Cafe vids on YouTube. Interestingly he was forecasting a week or two ago that SML would be at 2.5p by the end of February….we are already at 4p! Yesterday he revised his forecast to 4.6p by the end of February. Judging by recent rises I think he may be wrong again.

One day, we will look back at conversations regarding the SP breaking through 4p and……laugh. It was only a few weeks ago the SP was around 1.5p. Personally I’m always a bit cautious/conservative but on this one….i think things are going to go a little insane in a matter of a few weeks or a month tops.

I topped up 1st thing this morning at 3.12p (price irrelevant as I’m in for the long term) but the board recorded as a sell. There were many other ‘sells’ at that time. Now they have all disappeared. Very strange.

Or imagine TUN’s processing plant not working like Wolf Minerals and going broke due to a debt mountain. Then imagine SML (cash rich) stepping in and buying TUN at a huge discount. Just imagine.

We are all focussed on SML at the moment but where is the next opportunity? This won’t last forever.

HoldNotHold, he is a newly qualified submariner. Joined Navy at 16. A house deposit in my view is good at that age :)

Traderboy, I am with you on waiting another 10 years. I have invested for our kids. The eldest is 17. His holding is currently worth £15k. If 30p eventually which is not unrealistic over that timeframe in my opinion then set up for life.

Crypto, I’m thinking gradual rise until end of March then the SP will double once MRE is announced. If Leigh Creek sale is announced in May then another rise. If somebody puts an offer to buy Redmoor I think that would be very very interesting. But, sell if you want.

Yes, I’m thinking what would be a reasonable offer based on a £1 billion asset value. 13p would seem reasonable given the fact an acquirer would expect a significant profit. The rights to explore other Duchy land would increase that though.

Tungstenman, I’m curious to know what you think the acquisition SP would be if it happened (or anybody else for that matter).
