Surely the debt was accounted for in the share price, by paying it off it now means that TUI have less interest to pay. The value of the company cannot have changed, if your worth £5b and owe someone £500m, then you decide to pay them £500m your value hasn’t changed, or am I missing something else, please advise?
They did spoil it, a Russian has a huge stake in TUI as well
Another £3m big buy trade after hours, not sure what this means, any ideas anyone?
There was a big share trade after trading, 3 million shares at 288.30, it says it was an unknown trade, but if you look a few minutes there was a decimate buy of 2 million shares at the same price? Is it fair to assume this is gonna be a good day tomoz?
Any ideas what’s happening please??
Thank you Teasy, here’s hoping it ain’t so bad!!
Anyone know the reason of sharp drop in these? Just bought £2k, nothing seems to have changed
Hi there all, how much is the divi for today please?? Let’s hope this share keeps going
Is today’s drop due to the fact that the FAA has queried problems in the wings of the 737 MAX and has ordered that they be replaced on affected aircraft?? If this is the case and TUI required those 737 surely they can claim back all associated costs?
And back to red.......
Hi there I can remember reading this about a month ago!!!! How quickly it can change...... https://www.sharecast.com/amp/news/broker-recommendations/goldman-sachs-downgrades-glencore-upgrades-kaz-minerals--3838100.html
That should have said “lost £2 billion of market cap”, the mine only cost £1 billion!
Just bought £12,400 worth, sold these out when they got to£6.20, should have held. They got to be worth a punt again as they only reason the fell from£10 a share was for the mine that they bought. That list £1billion of market cap. There strategy now appears to be solid, in my opinion!!!!
Am I right in thinking there are 3 divi payments in the next few months?
Thank you for the info
Hi all, just looked at the trades, virtually all the trades since market closures are Sells, why is this? And why do others have the ability to do this?
These shares dropped 73p on Friday on the bad news of auditors and resignations of 2 non exec directors. surely now they must climb up again as even if blooming land has done something naughty a fine, which will be representative of its market cap will be minimal. Prob up to about £30m at best, I think the market cap was about £400m down on friday
Pram even!
Dummies and prom spring to mind!
You was right!!
