Appreciate your frustration, we're all very frustrated. I bought at 27p over a year ago and unfortunately didn't sell any as we reached the 40s. I think there is some credence in what has been said about the over promising from CF and no doubt there have been delays. However, what I have noted from doing the rounds on some other stocks in the same kind of sector: DDDD, SNG, Genedrive, NCYT is that they have all seen big drop offs from highs. This isn't just an OO thing that can be laid completely at CFs door. From my brief tour of these other boards I think this is by far the most negative board which is a real shame and can't be helping (not saying there shouldn't be any negative posts but a lot of it is relentless and unconstructive). I'm holding out with OO on the basis that the core business appears to be making solid progress, undoubtedly timeframes on other aspects have slipped but I've not heard anything to indicate that they won't still be delivered given time.

Possibly selling here to buy the big dip at SNG? If you got in at 14 you'd already be sat on a healthy profit at 25 now. All pure speculation of course but unfortunately further strain on our already battered SP here for no obvious/clear reason.

I think it's worth taking a step back and detaching from the share price and just considering the overall business health as we stand. I think we would mostly generally agree that the core Orph business looks in good shape and we should expect to see more contracts announced in the next period too with malarial and Covid challenge studies now added to the armoury. I'm confident that the business is in for an exciting and profitable year.

Orc, Green has provided you with a very good post outlining positives and negatives. If you don't believe the price will go up in the short term and are negative on the business then just sell.

I think most of us can see there's potential here and following a bit of news flow and positive coverage pre Xmas we moved briefly back to IPO price however once more we see this creeping back towards 9. Cathal was on record pre Xmas saying that they were concentrating a lot of effort into getting Poolbeg into a good position so hopefully more news will be due soon and investors can buy into the narrative here with greater confidence. This needs to happen before the 9 month lock-up releases!

Good to see a bit of coverage and momentum. Hopefully it'll be back at IPO price soon and the deals that Jeremy says are being negotiated can land. If that happens we'll be in a better place once the lockup period comes round to hopefully convince investors to keep their shares.

Would have thought this RNS may have led to a bit of cautious optimism as it shows that behind the scenes work has taken place to research and identify new opportunities and the one identified for strong consideration sounds intriguing. I guess the muted response represents the fact that this is only an option at the moment and still definitive direction and results yet to be seen, markets generally don't like uncertainty. Then also of course core Orph is hardly flying at the moment and sentiment shifts across here.

That RNS doesn't seem to have sparked much excitement so far! Worth listening to the interview posted, I still think this is an interesting and fairly unique model which has the potential to do well but will require patience as Cathal mentions. Let's hope that this candidate ticks all the boxes and they can take the option forward so that we can begin to see progress before the lockup finishes!

I think this tanking with the mothership in all honesty although no news or stimulus for the SP to go up so again likely to drift down from that. Progress must be shown both here and in Orph as a matter of urgency over the next 3 months! I'm keeping the faith but as many have said it's a tough gig at the moment.

Morning Moni, I certainly take your point and I don't disagree. I would expect (and hope!) That part of the reason for a 9 month lock up is that management knew it would take a fair bit of time to get their ducks in line here and didn't want people giving up on it with little/no news. I'm hoping those ducks are starting to come into line now and as a minimum they'll be able to report some solid progress even if contracts not formally sealed by the end of the lockup. If they don't then as you say I'd worry about a sell off.

Thanks Moniman, interesting to hear opinions on this. I find myself split between yourself and Wondergoals to a degree. I would agree that if there isn't much news flow before the end of the lock up period then the price will probably crash however I'm sure that Cathal and Jeremy are well aware of that too and will be working very hard to at least make sure there are clear signs of progress even if there aren't contracts signed and sealed by that point.

I like the concept of Poolbeg but it does seem to me that it will take some time to set up, I just hope that the 9 month window is enough time to be in a place where investors can be convinced that their money is best left in this for the longer term.

Moniman, you are positive about core Orph but seemingly very negative about Poolbeg. Any particular reason? Seems to me that this one particularly needs time and patience, hard to flick a switch and get the necessary business model and immune modulator in place to fire on all cylinders without a lot behind the scenes manoeuvring.

I think we all need to take a step back and appreciate that there has been a notable transformation and progress since CF took over in the business even if the figures haven't hit what some expected. Additionally, it's possible that some revenues may have been rolled into the next statement rather than this one as that was seen as the best accounting decision.

The story here is still strong with a lot to look forward to. MM's are trying to exploit the panic to get cheap shares but CF will no doubt be doing the rounds from tonight onwards and we'll also see a couple of juicy contracts dropping in the next month. No one will be taking my shares!

I was just taking a look in the Open Orphan shareholder information section and noted that Orph shares are also available on Euronext Dublin. I've not heard of anyone on this forum buying shares through Euronext so presuming it is very low volume and not especially relevant? Just an interesting aside though that Orph shares are up over 4% this week on there and up 76% YTD compared to 26% on AIM. Current price showing 0.46 Euro.

I often use this site to look at tickers and for a quick scan of information, seems pretty popular so would expect this to reach a wide audience of potential investors.

Another sea of red today so someone is certainly selling! Agree with you though Jimzi that there could be an RNS anyday soon which could be Imutex, 3rd facility or even wearables! So seems to me that selling is playing Russian Roulette. Keep the faith.
