Great news but not for us...

A new express rapid Covid test could be available for travellers at airport within a few months. Scientists at the University of Birmingham say they have developed a test that is as sensitive as a PCR test but can give results in just 10 minutes. It was first announced earlier this year and now extensive testing has confirmed its accuracy.

It would be 'ideally suited' to airport testing, they say, and could be rolled out within about three months with financial backing. The test uses the exponential amplification reaction (EXPAR) method, giving results within 10 minutes.

Still won’t stop us from taking a 5–10% hammering today…

I wouldn’t bet against it being true… tbh, I would get rid of the lot including our clueless AS and replace him with someone who has a bit of business savvy about him. Only reason I haven’t sold is because I would genuinely be embarrassed with myself that I made such a stupid decision to invest in AVCT, so until I sell I don’t have to own that decision.
