One of the most interesting stories I saw yesterday was this one,

Long story short, boohoo give £150 of free clothes to someone with 6k followers on Instagram to post 3 posts a month promoting Boohoo. This kind of marketing is just heads and shoulders above what a lot of people are doing and has so much more value than sticking £150 into PPC.

I just don't get it, should Boohoo be saying their contracts - "in order to deal with us, please obey the law". If it has come to that, then its a joke.

I can understand with companies sourcing from other countries with ropey to no worker rights, that their has to be a deep audit. When a company is operating in the UK, it should be a fairly solid and risk averse assumption to assume that they are doing the right thing.

Considering where everything is made that we consume in this country, it makes my blood boil that the media are going after companies that try to do the right thing and produce nearer to home.

Its very easy to criticise a company because of it supplier sourcing from the comfort of an iPhone, which was made in a Foxconn factory surrounded by suicide nets.

It is the roll of the government to police companies, not others in the chain. Watch the good place on Netflix, long story short, everyone goes to hell because of the upstream ramifications of purchases.

There is a minimum wage in this country and the suppliers who break those rules should be taken to court. It is not Boohoo's job to be the jury and executioner. If they find a supplier to be complicit in illegal activities, then they should no longer deal with them, which is exactly what they have done. These suppliers in question have gone to the extent of forging wage slips and refusing Boohoo auditors in.

Capitalism will always favour the most efficent price to maximise profit, it is therefore the duty of the legislator and its enforcers, to both legislate and enforce to protect human rights operating and interacted with by a "civilised" society

@hey_arnold wish I had listened to you earlier, would have saved myself from a bit of stress. Quite fun watching it though.

Hopefully we are just loosing off the jittery investors now who hadn't learnt from previous dips, seems to be holding at current level considering what's going on with NASDAQ.

Boohoo isn't an over valued tech stock either way, so fingers crossed.

Yeah, 1% away from first breaker. Decent buying opportunity after the long U.S weekend hopefully.

NASDAQ is going down decently again, think it might fall into breaker territory.

Not in good enough time, made 2%, but could have been 5% if I wasn't being a greedy bugger.

@gggg21 did you do a tesla play? Bit upset I have only got 3% so far when it could have been 6%.

Either way, 17 minutes and we know the results of the tech options squeeze, then we go up nicely or down to 290's.

Only way is up now, just going to be a slower rise, futures now showing signs of recovery.

Tesla as one of the hardest hit, is one of the greatest opportunities for gains, hence why it is reacting fastest. Herd mentality at it's finest.

If you want to make a cheeky 3% today, tesla would be a good call now.

It is literally the harbinger of doom, definitely setting up some alerts on tesla to warn me of the apocalypse.
