The next 3-4 weeks will be exciting and I would expect the share price to lift in anticipation over the next couple of weeks. Whilst we won’t know the results until Oct/Nov, they will be shared with anyone the bod are taking to under NDA. To us, 3rd 4th week of September and silence will mean we passed as expected as no news is good news.

I keep thinking about someone’s comment here from last AGM, where I’m sure Tim said there might not be one next year. Who was this or am I dreaming ?

I’m sure there is unofficial talks around a price from at least one, and could be made official mid September if tox studies are as good as we believe as they will definitely be updated before we are!

Just wondering how many shares we have once you allow for any outstanding warrants and allocated shares to the team as these will be on top of our current share number.

SOG is very knowledgeable and tries to share his knowledge, but don’t blame him if taking a break as far too many trying to knock him or call him a ramper!

When in fact he has truly researched the business over the years like many of us and relaxed with our holding and the potential. ( everyone is frustrated with communication from the bods, they are scientists and struggle on the business side 🤣🤣)

Again, agree 100%, May could be bumpy and frustrating at times but the end result will be worth it.

Many long time holders here who have researched themselves, and in turn gives them the confidence to sit back and wait for a truer reflection of the share price as it will come and I don’t think it will be that long of wait now.

A 16-week toxicology study to support longer-term dosing is expected to commence in May 2025, with completion anticipated in Q4.

It’s say completion in Q4 (October onwards), which suggests it will be late May as early May would mean completion in Q3 (August/early September)

Therefore expect May to be frustrating but once it starts we should see an uplift to current SP which is massively under valued at the moment and should be nearer a pound at this stage 🤞

They certainly don’t help themselves, very poor update!

It will give us the opportunity to maximise the new ISA limits in April with cheaper shares but unlike to see big gains now in 2025 unless something is happening in the background and they can’t talk about.

Bet they are not looking forward to investor call this afternoon 🤣

Good post and about a balanced view which I for one respect rather than being one sided.

I’ve been invested since 2008 and whilst relaxed, also feel that poor management has put us down in a weakened position on any deal.

We could of gone to the market when we were in the pounds, which would of funded us for 2-3 years but this would of also meant the business said they believed we were worth x but didn’t.

Yes each compound could be worth £800m as per Tim’s comment but with a business market cap of circa £23m put us on the back foot. Pressure to keep the price low, means they can Hoover up shares to offset an offer.

CHK1 has been a disaster and no rush to look to remarket

At best I see us being sold for £500m all in which is 20 times what Tim wanted many years ago, he’s ready to retire and therefore would accept this as would many of us!

I’m lucky to be in a position that if it went pop tomorrow then I would be upset but made my money over the years by trading. Personally I see us being bought out but fantasy figures of £10-20 per share is rubbish and needs a balanced argument rather.

The board is either ramping or deramping over the last few years and this is why I stopped posting as I have my own figures on it’s worth and what we could get, and still currently positive even with a poor management team who haven’t caught on yet that they need to market the business, which send a message to the market.

Are we 100% sure we are due a RNS to confirm the additional safety tests as we have been told they will start early 2025, and therefore the market updated?

Agree 100% with your sentiment, but feel the deal will be done sooner than later, which is why we might not get near its too worth. Starting bid at £500m would be a good start as anyone watching would have to decide do they let it go or put in a higher offer to secure 🤞
