Think it would be nice if Mouldy actually came out and spoke directly to shareholders instead of grandstanding on LinkedIn. Actually show some contrition for mistakes made and told us what the plan is to rectify it.

People have been loyal to THG and all they have to show for it so far is big losses. Instead of going to GQ and acting like a superstar complaining you should never have listed (Was your choice. You were not forced to do it) get the shareholders back onside by talking to us. It is the least you can do.

They missed the target after guidance was given 3 months previously.

It's just an easy out blaming the media. Boohoo and ASOS have both have rough rides in the media. Has have lots of other poorly performing companies. I also seem to remember a piece in the media recently by Tom Hunter which was basically a THG puff article. No one complained about the media then.

My point being that you we cannot blame the media or hedge funds forever. Once the company starts to produce positive results then the media will turn. Until then they won't

It's irrelevant what other companies have done. You were suggesting the SP has done poorly because of the media and hedge funds.

The data so far, is mostly pointing to higher rates for longer.

The reason why the share price is in the toilet is nothing to do with the media and everything to do with the company itself.

The other side of the argument is that a lot of folks will have bought into THG on the strength of that statement thinking this was the start of unlocking value for shareholders. Which, lets be honest, they haven't done a lot of so far.

Short sellers are normally clued up. They have their own intelligence. Which makes the "Whale" rumours that are being floated seem even more remote
