It seems we have volatility returning to the markets and that should be good for IG earnings,although the share price isn�t holding up the whole market is falling.

It seems to get traded a lot, so like you say it quickly reached �8 but had a lot of sell orders at that point, hopefully now they have been dealt with it clears the way . I don't blame folks for taking some profit.

Seems a fair assessment MTB I�m also impressed with the results and hopefully should give igg plenty more momentum going forward. Also they seemed to say the new rules won�t stop the business from growing,which is very good news.

Big rise today seems it did rebound quite quickly. Roll on results day 23rd January.

Looks like today's FCA news has sent the price down a bit,look s over done to me. IG said no impact other than steps already taken. Just looks like excuse to short, probably rebound like last time.

I don't know how you have gone from a change in regulation to CFD being the new PPI,as long as customers have clicked agree on the account documentation I would imagine it would be very difficult to claim for anything.

" But the core of the bisiness is profit from losses on bets" I disagree,most of the bets are balanced and in cases where there isn't balance they hedge so they don't take the risk . on your argument the LSE should be closed down in the times of a stock market crash,but in reality they make money on the spread,and so do IG. And let's not forget the broking business. The fund management businesses cream more money out of clients than IG do. People like Goldman have bet against clients many times and what's said about that.

Nice trading update looks like they are ahead of expectations,well received by the market.

I suppose being a multiple award winning property investment company helps to attract new money,fpo have a good track record. I notice one of the directors have invested recently,they must think this is cheap at this price like the rest of us wondering why the low price. Hopefully a good article or two in investors chronicle about the good results could put the price back on track,these should be reported on Thursday/Friday.

Look very good, increase in profit,cash has increased so have assets and a nice dividend to boot. Can't complain.

Don't know if any of you had time to listen to the audio recording,but I remember he said if all the properties that he had already bid on were bought the cash would all be spent. Although he did go on to say that all the bids wouldn't be successful but I think it just clarified that they are always looking at property and bidding on suitable developments. Although he seemed to say they were going to focus more on growing the property funds rather than direct ownership and they were going to reduce the company ownership of fop fund .

Also the office property management deal could still be the company maker in my opinion because instead of a fee they are getting a profit share,but because of this the money coming in will be delayed compared to just having a straight forward fee like all the other property management deals. So that is a massive positive for me,also results on companies like this can take a few weeks to get into the market via investors chronicle,shares mag etc.

I like the fact that assets seem to be held at book value and market value seems to be about 21 million pound more. Also very good progress has been made and I like to think Mr Habib holds some cash because he tends to find opportunities to invest in value added projects quite often so I am not worried about this as I am sure it will be deployed in a worthwhile project soon. All looks very good to me,as said earlier 60p should be easy to achieve really,shouldnt be at 51p .

I can keep taking that dividend for a long time while waiting for this to recover. Numbers look good, looks like it surprised the market a bit.

These look pretty good to me,even the dividend has had an increase. Seems like they have put measures in place to be ready for any changes in regulation. By the look of these,I'm hoping for a big increase in share price over the next few days.

Yes that's true enough,I sell really big holdings over a period of a few months sometimes or whatever time frame I feel is right at the time because of this,£10 a trade is nothing compared with the price going up just after you sell,at least if you sell half you have made on the second lot. Although it could equally go the other way. I'm going to keep these for a while though,the most money I made was on a recovery stock that took a long time to recover but paid a big dividend,re investing the divi can boost your income considerably especially if the recovery takes a long time,if a 5% divi re invested goes up 20%+ then you make out like a bandit.

Seems the market liked today's update on the fca ,igg look in good shape and have already made changes in how they operate,if they have to tweak a little in the future I can't see it being a big problem. Happy holder.
