Not rushing to top up this time as Lombard must know there is something in the chartS. I have money sitting in my account now and three nice dividends due by 1st april.

It’s either getting the lot put in here or I’m buying an 85” tv and put the remainder in here.

Man in black, just holding onto a share isn’t a good investment stratagy, if I had just held onto my shares instead of trading them I would of been another £15k down on top of my other drops due to the putin saga.
Why didn’t you wait till the trading update before buying more?

I know I missed the dividend but the drop today was a perfect time to add a couple of hundred more.

Troajan, the way you are targeted on here is a classic case of online bullying. It has all the hallmarks of what the papers say constitutes bullying.

Didn’t realise the drop was instant at opening bell so didn’t sell any and instead bought a couple of hundred more :-)

Excellent, I thought I could but I wasn’t taking any chances.

I’m already at my capital gains limit for the year as I have £12364 profit for the year but I also have losses on some shares in this year namely wres. I was wanting to sell some psn shares tomorrow as it’s ex day but I’m in profit even if I were to sell one share. Can I use the loss I made in wres to sell a lot of psn shares or is the loss meant to be used in the next tax year?

Only want to sell 300 shares but it will add another £1k to my capital gains profit.

I keep forgetting which day I can sell my longtime held shares and still receive a dividend. Can I sell on ex day or do I have to wait till record day?

I’m still in profit in psn as I bought a load in 2020 for £15 so would sell anytime and I have a nice holding in card in my share account I will happily sell after a few more pennies rise, I will move that between Lloyds and card as both seem to move at different levels.

I have been buying psn and card recently, was tempted to buy back into Lloyds but card being so low seemed a no brainier. Due a good dividend from psn soon :-)

If you just hold onto a share how are you going to make money, you don’t have any profit till it’s banked.

With the prices today I have dragged my average down to 51p in my isa and 45p in my share account, we are nearly at 2020 prices :-)

If it’s WW3 I doubt loosing money on your shares will be top of your list of things to worry about, I say keep topping up and I’m waiting to see how low Lombard goes before I top up again

Still out but keep seeing if it’s worth getting back in and it’s still not yet.

I know this share has had a big hit but since then it’s holding up better than a lot of FTSE companies, my big oil shares are dwindling away as I keep selling them to buy the bargains that are out there. But they aren’t bargains if they keep dropping :-)

Dropped in the 38p range I think and Lombard still haven’t closed their short, I think now they will make that much money they don’t mind loosing out on a bit to see if it will drop further. I tried to top up at 39p but by the time I got some shares sold and went to buy card they were 40.5p

If shell keeps holding this price and everything else keeps dropping I won’t have any shell shares left :-). Well not that bad but lay few weeks I have sold 800 shares and am now right on my capital gains allowance so that’s me done till 6th April :-)

I’m selling all my big oil to put in here if it did drop to £13 support level. I bought a load at near that in 2020.

Three years ago they hit £18 dropping from about £22 then they suddenly rose up to £33. There is nothing to say it can’t happen again, they will still pay the same dividend even if they do drop to £18.
