No Sam, airline ticket prices have reduced due to increased competition along with higher fuel costs.

The engines are still flying high.

Imo I think the share price will gradually increase starting from this Wednesday or Thursday, with a steep climb from Monday onwards. There is nothing that I can find to suggest RR will drop leading up to results.

Aeroplanes are still flying at record levels and business in other areas looks to be doing very well.

The institutions control RR share price and its they who control this sp market not us retail. Imo I think a few institutions were not happy about the dilution the other week even though it was only small it was there, a few hundred million in shares can add up.

Well said roov, this company has nothing on paper, all words. River sold and down are a few words that sprig to mind.

Melrose industries and RR started dropping about the same time today, a gradual sell off from about 2pm.

Obviously there is some news on defence or aerospace about to be released. Pity retail are always the last to find out what's going on!

Airlines around the world are breaking new records with many more flying hours compared to 2019. Some airlines are not making as much profit due to more expensive fuel cost and competing ticket prices with other airlines, along with some having significant debt.

The airlines are still flying record hours, and this is what really matters to RR.

Next week's Farnborough airshow will generate excitement and anticipation of new orders which imo will get the share price moving upwards.

it's easy to get disillusioned with RR with these large drops in share price for little or seemingly no reason, but it's all a normal part of trading a volatile stock.

Imagine fluking browsing the RNSs and this one pops up, could not believe my luck. Rushed to freetrade and it was not listed, found it in my trading212 account and immediately put a wack in at 0.8p, so off it went into lala land and never triggered the buy while I watched the price rise.

What a load of crap Trading212, I suppose u get what u pay for......ended up cancelling at 2p

I would prefer debt reduction followed by a buy back than a dividend, although it's possible that a dividend will be announced but not until late 2025 imo.

I have held on to these shares since the fiasco in January last year. I never got the option to sell with my trading 212 account the other month. My average was 39p, I sold out this morning with a large loss, good riddance. The company is a joke.

What is that last RNS telling us? Either they are deliberately dragging the share price down or the business is failing rapidly.

Firstly, they get the wording all wrong in the RNS, it should say contract was for 15 years with a mutual 10 year extension.

How many fields in Block RJ-ON/6? all of them or a few? leaving this in the air to create uncertainty? what was the management expecting would happen to the share price? they knew is certainly was not going to increase.

The ultimate customer power plant is still under maintenance at a reduced output, by how much?

I am invested here sitting on a 50% loss upto now.

I'm a bit puzzled on the 25 year PSC for Block RJ-ON/6 should it say 15 years? I can't see this contract being agreed August 1999.

if there has been a mistake in the RNS it should be corrected along with an explanation, some major fkups are being made in the wordings here. One rns stating the share price is undervalued then putting another nail in it with the latest bolliocks rns.

Not sure, but has motley fool recommended a buy? Would explain a lot.

It's all a bit vague stew, but I doubt it because if it was, the SP would not be sat at 8p with buyers coming in, it would be down to a penny or less.

They should clarify with a detailed RNS.

Any rise here over the next couple of months will be sold into, so anyone thinking it will recover to minimise losses will be disappointed.

The repairs should have been done by now, the 10 year extension is not guaranteed. Indus is on its last legs.

Another aim loss to add to my list.
