1) CB will have had XRF results on the other samples before they went for assays, so he will have a broad idea of the likely results.
2) He extended the IP survey from 4-6 weeks after it started due to promising early results
3) He did an early raise and announced a 20,000m diamond drill program to ensure he had two drills lined up once the modelling was done.
4) He wants to drill to 1500m
5) He spent $120k on shares for XTR in preference to his other companies
6) He was very positive about XTR when doing recent interviews for his other companies.

The delays in assay results are frustrating, but a delay by itself doesn't indicate bad results. There could be a number of different reasons, from overloaded labs, to CB being distracted by his other companies or simply a decision by CB to announce then all together. The latter would be particularly useful if he can combine the 3D model with the phase 1 drill holes and the planned phase 2 holes.

Yes, I am also leaning that way now. It would make sense to package the IP survey results with the phase 1 drilling results and the phase 2 drilling plan.

Its 0.86% Cu and 0.7 g/t and as usual for all your 'tips' it is high up a mountain in the middle of the driest region on Earth :)

"The Filo del Sol Project is located in the Atacama Region of Northern Chile and adjacent San Juan province of Argentina, 140 kilometres southeast of the city of Copiapó, Chile and straddles the border between Argentina and Chile. The centre of the main deposit area is located at 28.49° S latitude and 69.66° W longitude.

The climate is cold and windy, typical of the high Andes. The exploration field season runs from October to April and requires the presence of a bulldozer all season in case of sudden snowfalls. The project could be kept open all year if 2 to 3 bulldozers were kept working, but low temperatures make it difficult to work in the winter months.

Field work is based out of a camp located approximately 20 kilometres from the project in Argentina. The camp can accommodate approximately 120 people. The site is remote and, other than road access, there is no infrastructure available.

Elevations on the property range from 3,800 to 5,400 metres above sea level. The mountains are generally not rugged and vehicle access is possible to most of the property. Vegetation is almost entirely absent in the area."

In addition, the comment from CB that "I am looking forward to the hole 2 assay results, shorty" (an rather disparaging dig at Zac's height) was also misinterpreted.

As I just reread that section again, it struck me that it said: "...the Company is investigating financing options."

You don't 'investigate' a placing as it within your own control. That phrasing strongly suggests loan, royalty, joint venture, etc..

I just read the PERE RNS, but also checked out the company presentation.

The RNS looks good, until you realize they only own 11% of the mine. I notice that rather important fact is absent from the RNS :)

I'm personally confident, but that doesn't apply to everyone. Most personal investors do not conduct a lot of research and rely more than they should on forums/twitter. Also, low market caps tend be heavily personal investor based.

Therefore, if I have £100k invested in something and someone else, through malice or a desire to short, is spreading false information to scare those investors, I am absolutely going to take whatever action is available to me to combat their lies. I have no problem with a balanced look at the risks / opportunities, but that is not what the de-rampers are doing.

Because you are continually spamming the board with the same lie - that a placing is inevitable. That comes under the abusive/disruptive category. The bulk of evidence points to a loan, royalty of joint venture and that seems to be the consensus of the long-term, experienced posters on the board.

The sub 40 wasn't exactly a stunning vindication of your stock-picking ability. Do you also go on to forums and spam them about all the times you were wrong? Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally.

I see the de-rampers are all out in force today. Strange that none of them had these negative opinions before last Friday :)

Also says a lot about someone's character when they look for a stock that has dropped, then jump on the forum and try to talk it down further. If that is your idea of entertainment, time to take a look in the mirror and see what you think of the person starting back at you.

For anyone who is genuinely trying to understand the stock, you should read the company presentation and the RNS over the last six month or so. To spot the trolls, check their posting history before taking what they say at face value. You can spot the genuine posters by the factual and balanced nature of their posts and the lack of exclamation points :)

Hmm where do I start? First, every sell is also a buy so whatever price you think is a good price to sell, someone else thinks it is a good price to buy, even if that buyer is a market maker.

Second, the buy trade volume seemed to outnumber the sells, so if you could supply the data you used to conclude the MMs are holding a lot of stock, I would be very happy to see it.

Thirdly, if the MMs really are holding stock, why would they hold the price down while they sold it?
