i might not have any legal knowledge.
but common sense tells me that-
bad publicity damages opinion, and deters investment, and creates negative sentiment.
however you look at it its not good.

bet there is a lot of people who sold on thurs/friday feeling a bit sick today.
this could turn into quite a long hold for me maybe 2 years.

every time i buy this stock something negative happens.
will the sentiment for bt ever change ? or will it always be a political / msm football.

yes £1 has gone now next target is 110 but could easily get there with lower volume than we have had in last week as sellers diminish .
more and more negative news coming out on msm about companies going to the wall etc etc.

looks like the big shareholders are not happy with the boards remuneration packages.
have to say this company does seem to behave like an old boys club and more interested in themselves than the shareholders.
bunch of plodders that just plod along .
hope the new ceo has more ambition and drive.

the way this is climbing it does look like there is some truth in the takeover rumour.
personally i would prefer to keep my holding for the income but everything has a price.

it is because you are looking at the end of the days trading and the market is balancing the trades up so you can get all sorts of figures appearing but it means nothing until you see the u/t figure
and that is the days finish price ie today is 324.80

the book you recommended (the art of execution ) arrived today so that will keep me busy while we are locked in our prisons again.
banks took a beating today will we see ni/rates very possible in my opinion but not until the spring/early summer have stayed well away from banks this year as there has been far better stocks to buy imo.

any positive publicity is good for stock.
but as i said in december think this has been on a lot of peoples watch list for some time now.
maybe people are thinking now is a good time to get in before the stampede comes.
expecting a lot of bad news about zombie companys going to the wall over next few months.

sorry about delayed reply have had a rest from stock market over xmas to let my brain breath.
interested in your thoughts on graphene as it is not something i have ever had a conversation about before.
i have always viewed it as a miracle substance that nobody has found a large commercial use for.
versarian is a no no as the only person to make money from there is neil ricketts total crook imo
but that said sure there are some good companies in the graphene sector .
please do tell me what you know about using it for road surfaces etc and has it got any other unique uses .

i have a primary bid account but to date i have not used it.
the aim market does not worry me in fact i have had some very good results from aim stocks.
i am also a member of share prophets which i find very useful when looking at aim stocks
and they are also very bullish on gold mining and oil stocks.

yes i realise that there is many forms of mining stocks and although i have looked at various gold/silver stocks i always find myself backing away from them through lack of knowledge on my part makes me feel like a fish out of water .
but i still feel that i need to learn how to swim in this sector.
