I totally agree with the comments about Brokers. These so called professionals have no more idea than anyone of us who actually shop in Tesco and see what their offering is all about. For me, I am hoping for good results early October and a useful divi.

I don't pretend to understand the markets, but can anyone enlighten me as to how the price is showing +5p but no trades/volume? Summ is funny at the best of times. Thank you steve

This board really benefits from shareholders being interested in their company, its prospects and the way it goes about its business. The quality of feedback leaves other boards of significantly bigger companies in shame (e.g. Glencore) Thank you Steve

I have been a shareholder here for a long time, and I hope value is coming through. I agree that perhaps something is happening as I find it strange that less than 2000 shares (or just £4k) can put put 5p on any share. Perhaps there are more buyers in the pipeline? Clearly, I am basing this on hope rather than any facts. Steve

I 100% agree with the comment about Brokers - these so called experts simply don't know. I also have some Vedanta shares which took a pounding last year (as did most commodity stocks) interesting how the same Brokers just about wrote them off, and yet today, Ved are around £10. Ignore the brokers and follow your own feelings - whilst I do get it wrong, I don't claim to be an expert. GLA

I bought this share some years ago, when, unfortunately it was over £12 - of course hindsight is wonderful. But even after the dramatic (and most welcome) recovery, I too think Ved will continue in an upward direction - not only based on hope, but I think the States are going to be good for commodity companies. GLA

For what its worth, VED is usually a quiet forum and whilst I know nothing about your share, I would always always sell if you have made your target profit. Good luck, Steve

I agree. Where are those "Expert" broker ratings now - only in April they had these shares as sell with target of 250p, so, only the odd £4 off their comments. Vedanta will go higher - in my "expert" opinion...

I agree that this share is, to say the least, volatile. I am in for the long term, although that was not my intention when I paid over £8 sadly. The whole mining category has been hammered and surely this share has further to go/recover. At least they still give divi's. Here's hoping......

I bet those who took Investec advice to sell are truly annoyed. I have read and re-read so called advice with shares over the years and now only do what I think is the best - of course I get it wrong, but I am encouraged that professionals are no better. Come on Stan, can on the upward trend - I am still well adrift of what I paid (following my own advice of course)

How can a Broker issue an effective downgrade the day Stan (at the mo) is up 7%. They really annoy me with their "opinions" - come on Stan, prove them ridicolously wrong.

I have held PDL for a couple of years now, and for once, I really feel positive about this companies share price. It stands me at 136p, so after falling to nearly £1, I am confident it will continue this encouraging upward trend - here's hoping at least.

I have held this share for an age, but I really think they are worth holding a little longer. I am hopeful the results due soon will be positive, and we might see 175p soon. The other share I really like for the same growth reasons is 888 - maybe a little late there now?

I have followed this share for some time and cannot help thinking there is much more good news in share price to come. There are many upgrades coming through and they have started with divi's again. Now the company is doing well I am thinking a takeoevr is a real possibility? Any other people think similar? thanks

There are some really positive comments coming out about Ladbrokes, at last. I agree with the other views, these shares look set for 190p - hope so.

I too reckon that Ladbrokes will start to recover. The share price will react positively to any quality appointment at the top in additiion to the next set of results which may just show the company getting it together. Here's hoping

Whatever is behind the price rise is welcomed by me. Maybe some good news is in the pipeline??
