When I see trades in low numbers like 5, 8 & 9 saying unknown - what are these? Do people really buy 5 shares? Thanks

I never can understand how a price rises when there are far more shares being sold than bought??

Add about £10 to your purchase price and that is what I admit to paying - about 2 weeks before Covid kicked off. I have bought the rights, and again last week - so I am Mr Hopeful. This can be a very profitable sector, and I do think any consolidation in the industry would be very helpful.

When I first bought EZJ, about 2 seconds before Covid restrictions came into play (at something like £15) I did so on the thinking that consolidation was due in this industry. I still hope that is true, and I welcome this positive price move - I do think it's more to do with their good business and recovery. I bought the rights, and twice more - so, if it gets to about £7.50 I will break even. Quite some way to go - but here's hoping. Steve

I have posted before that I first bought EZJ 2 seconds before Covid hit @ £15.51 ouch.. I bought them because I thought this industry was ripe for consolidation, and I thought (still do) EZJ could be a target.
Things "seem"to be going in the right direction with massive holiday demand etc., etc., At least I'm making on the rights issue at £4.10.

I'm with Interactive Investor, and mine are not showing either.
I have found this happens with Glencore divi's - wonder if it's because they are declared in dollars?

I know... I bought them about 1 second before all this kicked off.

I agree that travel is changed for the foreseeable future - but, we will travel again. And, I think in big numbers. Why, because it's the "new norm". We have just been to visit family in Dubai, and yes, taking (and paying) for tests is a pain and unnerving - but with everything that is happening it is a small price.
I've posted before that I can only hope EZJ re-bounds as I came in at probably the worst decision making time - I paid over £15. So, here's hoping.......(in the "opinion" box I would like to add a new one "Please Buy"

Don't know if this is the only reason? Whilst the market has been a little shaky lately, people having been moving into Unilever for the divi yield. I personally think the share will go higher, and hopefully the next April update will help. I came here at £40.75 in Feb, so very happy to see it recovering.

I'm with you, rather than genuine comment, advice etc., this site does become a forum for slanging matches and those who miraculously seem to make millions. I've traded shares for a long time - those who have, know it's very hard to predict accurately, and even harder to make a real profit. We all win sometimes, but the losses hurt. It's gambling really and gamblers only talk about the winners...

I came into EZJ exactly at the wrong time - paying £15.51. What amazes me is how Whizz Air has come back very strongly - I'm hoping EZJ will follow. I've no doubt business will be excellent again, and I can't see the Government/Shareholders letting companies like these not surviving.

thanks both for the very helpful info. I've traded shares for more years than I can remember but still don't understand how it seems to work. I bought JS about 18 months ago at 216p. I hope they will sell off their banking arm to increase value. Cheers everyone

Agree with your comments. A an example (although Waitrose but still Grocery Mkt) just about all Xmas turkeys are sold as more families are eating at home. This boosts all the associated extra's. I also think JS is going to be interesting if they sell off their banking arm.
