Think I'm going to just increase my holding in Alba early next week, and get exposure to GreenRoc indirectly in the short term, until the share price of the new company settles.

IPO's can be volatile in the first few weeks.

Just out of interest Bighammer, what broker are you with. I'm with Hargreaves Lansdown and they say they are sending out the forms soon. Not even sure how the process works if I'm honest.

I'm in two minds whether to buy on the open market or from the placing. Will wait to see what the SP does early next week. The deadline to fill in forms and have funds ready is next Thursday, if my memory serves me correctly?

Anyone gleaned information about the reason/reasons for the delay of the GreenRoc IPO?... been dipping in and out of news on this platform and pleased to see so many informative posts.

My hope is that Budd has a carrot up his sleeve and had used this to dangle in front of the institutional investors. Mid October or November, they get there money back…and some…and the pi’s get above water.

Two RNS messages detailed the confirmation of a placing for Jubilee Metals (JLP) today.

As you will see below, the placing price to the IIs was 16.03pence. The share traded between 16-17p yesterday. THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE. Unlike GDR who have shafted the pi's.

A total of 187 149 096 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") have been placed by WH Ireland Limited with new and existing investors (the "Placing") at a price of 16.03 pence (ZAR 316.27 cents) per share (the "Issue Price").

I wouldn't trust him to run a bath.
