Good to know an update is on the agenda.

It's strange. Companies usually follow there own pattern in regards to communication of TU.

In this case past behaviour is not predictive of current.

Did any of you astute posters ever email the powers that be, enquiring as to why no trading update has appeared yet? (before I do so).

I am a big supporter of the medium-long term potential of GDR but this lack of communication is a tad frustrating.

As shareholders and part owners of the business we deserve better. The vacuum created by the non-communication is fuelling the conspiracy theories purported by the derampers (and its starting to get annoying)! Cue angry face.

Very strange that GDR have provided a trading update for the last 4 years around this time and then say they are not obliged to do so!

Something is brewing.

This is fantastic news (ref DOD sales).

Once again it is a shame the information has came from an eagle eyed member of this platform (thanks Swerves) and not through an RNS update from DB (cue cross face).

And where is the trading update?

As stated, it's only a suggestion (from the source), but when its Peel Hunt making the suggestion (draw your own conclusions). That said, i don't know how reliable the source is.

This is why i asked about the percentage split of the company ownership yesterday, to determine voting rights, although i hope a takeover never comes to fruition (so that the share price and my investment can reach their full potential). But to deny the possibility would display naivety.

Unfortunately, i an inclined to agree that a takeover is a distinct possibility and don't want to be conned by a derisory offer (like BCN/Gangfeng).

I was hoping for the update today (Friday 9th), however, in the last 4 years the latest trading update was published on the 13th (which would mean next Tuesday).

Apathy has spread around this share; hence the low trading volumes.

Well...if there is to be a takeover bid I hope it's not a derisory offer (like the 67.5p offered to BCN).

I would prefer there not to be a takeover, to reap the full rewards of this companies extensive product portfolio.

I'm signed up for the long haul.
