What I would point out is that all stock market listed companies can be taken over via takeovers (hostile or otherwise). Look at Morrison’s, as example.

We seem to have a similar investment strategy; fair play to you. Also, lets not forget that BA did say in the Q+As that he is in favour of dividend payments (from extraction profits).

To be honest I'm not that worried about ISIL and the security situation. The Mali Government get to much money from royalties, tax, and mining licence fees to let anything ruin the lithium exploration market. It would not be in there best interests, and as you say, other countries have vested interests.

Hope all goes to plan with that retirement fund!

This is a long-term hold for me (tucked away in my ISA). Bernards reward package is linked to three key milestones;

1/ Final licence sign off
2/ Announcement of JV
3/ Plant set up and extraction

This is why I am invested.

Huge potential, although, after the final licence sign off a DFS must be completed (estimated to take around 6 months). Plant set up and first extraction will hopefully take place in around 2 to 2.5 years - according to Bernard.

I don't think its in Bernard's interests to sell the lithium assets as his own bonus is triggered on the announcement of the JV.

The better question should be what could the SP be in 3 years???????

The lithium resource alone has amazing potential, although the last slide of todays presentation on the Fatou Gold project gave me a pleasant surprise.

I Quote

"Acquired the Fatou Gold project in Mali with immediate mineral resource potential exceeding 350,000oz Gold".

Great potential future value.

Todays UK Gold Price = £1,282 per ounce!

As a conservative estimate, around £448 million worth of Gold in Fatou, waiting to be extracted.
