You could argue things are actually still getting worse for THG - the volume this week has been by far the lowest since IPO, despite the relatively low SP. this means that no one at all (II/ fund/ PI) is remotely interesting in investing, as they dont see a catalyst for SP growth, and no chance of a dividend.

they always say be careful what you wish for. moulding wished for THG not to be in the spotlight, and its now not, but at such low volumes, the shorts can now move even more at their will.

cant be many PI left - its fairly soul destroying and then you combine with moulding car crash Q4 update and fourth profit warning, and one things - what is the point here?

Plutus, RR went up today as CEO changed strategy and they delivered record profit.

from a PI shareholder point of view, there is no one more accountable of our/ their losses than Moulding

Mon, to be fair it is only Matthew Moulding who has overseen 95% sare value destruciton as he was both CEO and Chairman (and land lord, and major shareholder etc etc) for most of the erosion.

Lord Lucan came later, and rumour is he is working hard behind the scene - notice how nearly all of Mould's support network fan club have moved out

Hi Oke, what you share is very logical, and this is why a new CEO who is also logical is needed.
Moulding is erratic, emotional and prone to outbursts. he will never sell off any part of 'his' business.

ideal world is moulding is farmed out like what happened to Gallemore, and THG cut everything except beauty and nutrition, using any spare FCF and money in (from selling hotels/ spa/ elements off ondemand/ crappy companies like coggle/ allsole etc) to pay down debt and save the money

in hindsight, it would have been better to use the cash from softbank to not buy cult but pay off all debt - i know not possible but would have been great

there are likely to be some serious write downs on the intalibles of cult and dermstore etc

but conversely, the Cult just try to get you to buy so they can exit at a smaller loss. I dont care if people buy or sell, I care that THG starts to behave like most other LSE companies and actually deliver what they say they will in official RNS updates to the market such as goverance (GS/ premium listing), financials (revenue/ ebitda/ FCF) and new customers (whales)

yes, unfortunately until this little boat gets a proper captain, and a proper growth engine, it will be buffeted by the macro economic winds and storms of the shorts. not an investment until formal guidance is given in an RNS, formal confirmation of GS going and by when, premium listing and by when, and new NED and by when, and ideally Moulding replaced by someone professional or at least professional than him (shouldnt be hard, could be anyone other than Old John).

then at least 3-4 quarters of delivering/ over delivery numbers, and this may move away from being a penny share

so safe to say we all agree that oldJohn was demoted, and farmed out where he could do less harm to shareholder value...we hope

so if THG appoint 2 new NED and move to premium market and good riddance to the cursed GS, much of the governance improvements are done

then they have upskilled executive team with Vivek and Sanders, who are a big improvement to basically old John. be good to get rid of Whitehead and the 3 interchangeable ladies who sometimes appear on analyst calls, and upskill with some professionals

I guess the red herring of mould as landlord will stay and always be frowned upon

so then the next problem is growth, which seems to have disappeared when THG arent buying it (Q4 was circa -8% vs SPLY), and FCF positive which doesnt seem possible within the current business model, so still lots and lots to fix

what feedback Oke? must be positive as no one can give worse guidance than Old John

100 MA just gone. Having seen these analyst assumptions, I cannot see how THG business model is sustainable i.e how do they fund finance costs of 100m - and then have anything left to invest in growing the business in capex?

cant see how FCF neutral or positive is at all achievable with these forecasts
