problem with you is you dont flex and move to the market, hence why your cash has been tied up, whilst others buy/ sell/hold and make money. its all about making money...dont hate the player, hate the game if you are too rigid

wow, what a week for THG. after a weak or classic manipulation last week on v. low volume and dropping, this week has been very strong, both momentum and volume, and even Mould has had one very very good linkedin update on MyPro.
All whales are in play; not yet fully signed, but heading that way to use THG's very valuable SAAS and also spare autostore capacity in UK (and maybe even USA tbc)

yes, did seem confident and to be fair , why not? nutrition is a great business, licensing is a no brainer profit business. their extension into bricks and mortar in japan, germany, UK and Ireland is a great idea. I am happy to see icecream and pizza coming for summer.

this all needs to translate into share holder value but is a very positive step. as is the grwoth in S2 (was broadly double that of S1) suggesting THG enters 2023 with strong momentum

but its strength cannot subside beauty (where demand is falling off a cliff -9% vs SPLY) and ingenuity (dog) - these divions need to step up and grow organically and land whales

does anyone have any theories on what has happened to the volume.
THG average in last 6 months is circa 7-7.5m shares a day. last 2 weeks or so, its closer to 3.5-4m.
clearly its never a good sign when no one is trading your shares, esp as the SP falls, but strange, and bad no bargain junkies are pilling in, or even Kelso or existing holders

55p is new upward resistance point. shorts nailing it. was 60p beaten, then 58p beaten, 57p etc
no volume means no worries for them

I genuinely respect Oke, and always value his input. I think from our conversations he knows trha.

he shares financials/ options on how THG can improve. and we have had good discussions aligning the bull bear case

AS1 - can you kindly share the path to 2.50 per share? growth/ ebitda/ divisional margins/ governance. would be great to debate

Ocado has a premium ftse 100 listing and all shares are equal.
THG has a standard listing and golden share

the SP is very weak. there is no MDA support whatsover, and for some reason, there is no volume anymore. shorts can play with it at will. i am amazed this is down, after such a drop last week and esp on Friday, and with indexes up, and with good retail news

early flavor of how shorts/ MM will play today....50p wont hold without news until APril

My guess to get over 200p, THG would need to demonstrate to the market:
1/ its can generate at least enough FCF positive (at least 50-100m p/a)
2/ editda of at least 200m, then assuming a x15 multiple and that Mould doesnt dilute shareholders again
3/ hit at least all 4 quarters of guidance this year
4/ stop ranting :)

Agree with you Oke, that muppet Jonny G who used to pretend to be a CFO was a disaster. His guidance was beyond poor, as was his cost management.

I have also heard that new CFO will now also share with the City their lowest view, and then aim to beat hard.

having said that Muppet was CFO for all of 2022 - should we be afraid of material non cash impairments. I wiuld guess yes for Ondemand for sure, and maybe even in Beauty with the forthy valuation for acquisitions esp Cult (crazy high price) and Bentely Labs

Oke, they have 0.04%. its a bit far fetched
also I am sure t rowe/ BlackRock/ JUP/ softabnk all had a plan - all sold at a loss

and peals go back another year and THG SP is 500p+, they are promising the world etc etc
the problem is moulding has materially misguided the market as to the top and bottom line THG would achieve since then. they have punished him and THG by making it un-investable/ a laughing stock so no serious II would be willing to take to his boss.
this has coincided with a circa 7% short coverage and such low volume, that they pay with it daily, riding up from 55p and down from 62p
it is not an investable business for LT PI until this is a;; fixed. moulding must go first
