The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
I am ok just posting JK Jenkins for others who may want to sell . Am personally now trying to see if I can buy some . Spoke to them this morning and they explained procedure .
I just copied post - I also think it's waste of time and agree with you . Matra haven't broken any rules

Lifted this from FT journalist poster just now What do people think - I personally think it's a waste of time as Matra haven't broken any rules although they may have disappointed a lot of small shareholders on a short term term basis . Need to wait a year to know if it is a good decision or not Here is another email to aim regulater I sent after this mornings RNS. Please can you post it on lse board and other relevant places . Dear sirs Thank you for your reply last week . Please can you note an RNS that was released today concerning "additional payment" which shows that they have now received the extra $10m for the sale of their Soko oilfield asset .This money has been received when they are suspended and just prior to their almost certain delisitng .There is no benefit to small shareholders and the money can be disposed of as they wish . Do you not find the timetable of events since Maxim Barskiy bought a stake in the company strange . Perhaps you should also be looking into who the soko oilfield asset was sold to and if there is any conflict of interest. The identity of the buyer has not been revealed . Can you also please confirm that if the management were to sell their part in the company or even a part of it would the small shareholders be legally protected in the sense that they must be made the same offer . The timing of the suspension and delisting are highly worrying as is the timescale of events - namely the additional $10m Rns today A reply and acknowledgment of this email would be much appreciated and also an answer to my question concerning shareholder protection after delisting . I am sure that the small shareholders of which there are many can count on your looking after their interests and ensuring that the correct procedure has been followed and will be after the inevitable delisting . Regards
My mistake
They are wrong . Brokers can hold them it will just show as having no value . My broker barclays are gong to hold them for me . And they can be traded RP on Jenkins index through your broker . I would Change brokers
How high would you be prepared to pay
Would have had immediate 30- 40% rise today . Coincidences coincidences - Some might say no such thing as coincidences in business . What will they do with 10 million ? Drilling -don't think so . Acquisitions - yes . Having read the letter from aim regulator to a poster here - which matra will have also no doubt seen they will realize that they can't abuse shareholders otherwise aim will be after them . Any hint of an investigation will wreck their US plans and no one there would touch them. So it's in their interests to makes sure all is above board . And our interests ties in with theirs .
A nonanswer Five years . Lets see
Which is riskier - here or Somalia - aka RMP your so called main share . So much for them having cash in the bank . Why then is sp so low . And why has price remained where it currently is in spite of it supposedly being a certain ten bagger . Folks have been saying for the last year . RMP - Somalia Please . Give me Matra anyway .
They will have long sold it up off or relisted . Give it a year to 18 months - maximum . Remember MB is share holder like rest of us . If he sells it on for good profit we will share the cake . Getting or not getting oil out of ground irrelevant . Profit is the name of the game .
Your earlier posts today not up to your usual standards, Firstly they are seeking to potentially relist in US because they are now a US based company with their biggest asset also being US based - ditto their biggest partner - Tricon . Thus far easier to raise finance there . Also presumably looking for future US deals. If they do relist there those currently holding shares would have the equivalent percentage .Not an issue at all . I personally see them selling on the company for hefty profit rather than relisitng . Just my personal opinion . If they were to do that shareholders would benefit . There is obviously no point in them applying to relist on aim as they are in process of delisitng from it . Sorry that Is a non question . As for shares trading recently at 0.8 . No way .No shares have been traded since 1 November .Not legally possible . Those trades may , as ultra pointed out , have been MM deals/ transfers . The shares will crash initially on 1 may because 1/ some funds cannot hold unlisted shares and 2/ others will be forced to sell because of tax considerations . They will both have to accept any price offered. Anything rather than lose everything. Thus combine 1&2 and you will have a price somewhere between 0.2 and 0.5 . No way 0.8. IMHO Remember no debt and supposedly solely delisting to complete RTO .Not for any financial reasons . There is also the soko $10m which has now been officially transferred to Matra bank account and can be used towards new deals / drilling and further improves their financial situation / worth . So now company is worth $38m rather than $28m. Initially I was looking to bail out - now I would buy if I could raise the money .
Think can get them way lower than 0.5 . More like 0.2 . I may be there in August . Great time to go as so hot no one there . Great place to run at night - midnight ish - in August . More I think about this more I think it will be sold on before being relisted .
What about buying more come may or do you think too risky
I repeat Don't even think about it
You may think me insane But have you thought about buying any shares once listed on JP Jenkins . Will be dirt cheap - initially at least . Surely worth a gamble . If I had the money I would seriously think about it . And being the madman that je suis - I am trying to work out scenarios to raise money . Insanity or what folks . The initial price on index will defnetly be cheap with people bailing out for any price they can get. Almost an ipo scenario . Even if it doesn't eventually work out the risk might be worth the gamble . Billybadback- DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT .
Once delisted if there were to be an RTO would shares be suspended form RK Jenkins index as in usual practice For listed shares
You need to wait and see . This is not the usual delisting
how many do you have ? You will be offered a better price than that if can wiat two months
