Think just being played . Can't see it hitting that figure . But who knows . RXP - looking good .
Mondays Circular has calmed a lot of fears perhaps not totally but at least somewhat . Kind of back up I suppose if worst scenario were to arise - which I don't think will . This time next year we should all - hopefully - be smiling and looking back to this year .
From FT journalist - what do you make if it folks ? Ft journalist 9 Apr'14 - 19:07 - 7589 of 7590 0 0 Dear Fellow shareholders In reply to my email to aim regulator last week I received the following response today . I must admit that though Monday's circular was reassuring it is also good to know that the aim regulator will keep an eye on things to protect our interests. Perhaps someone could post it on the other site as I have problems logging in there . Dear Thank you for your e-mail, copied below, regarding Matra Petroleum plc’s (the “Company”). MXP - basket case . Very much a case of over and out . Around 8 years ago was one of the most heavily traded shares in aims. Real day traders dream .
Char is long term recovery bet Any movements not a problems as will eventually hit 100-150 p. Rxp - strange things going on Very big Russian investor involved . Do you remember we talked about it last year . He would not have poured that kind of money in - at way above current sp- unless other things going on behind the scenes . Having said that look at MXP - almost over and out !! Ps all this IMHO.
Is their setting up ability to trade on JP Jenkins . Even if ineffective or hardly any trades go through at least they set it up . Means that they are not totally deaf to small shareholders concerns - or possibly their own long term business reputation . Also if Matra takes off and they do eventually sell up their next venture would attract even more folk will to pay a premium for someone who has already had success at west Siberain and then here. I am pretty sure they would sell up if they received good offer . But it would have to be a good offer . If that happens we can only benefit .
I have had my run ins over the years with ultra and I adore arguments . But I think you are both very much in the wrong here . In this instance he has given out some valuable information about matra and RK Jenkins - even predicted it . Ultra if I may say so I feel as if having initially thought this delisting very very bad news you are now wavering .
Dare I say it and to use your immortal words " charts looking good for Char " not so hot for Rxp. But
Bu have to admit everything has to fall into place for it to all work out . Now that we are gong through our love in period - just to go off topic what do you make of Char ? And are you still keeping an eye on Rxp ?
Matra delist very different scenario to other companies on JP Jenkins . Nothing to do with fiancial problems. More to do with desire to get things moving and not be hindered by 1 year lock in for further corporate actions . I still think another RTO is on the cards once delist done . One that couldn't happen if lock in period in place. When or possibly if things start happening shares will be in demand even on JP
Perhaps they are assuming they have bought Texas assets at bargain prices and with possible Company restructuring and ,who knows ,another RTO that figure will not be so far fetched in a years time .
You misunderstood . Relsiting will or rather could be when the company reaches a value of $200+. However there is no time frame on that .In ideal scenario will be in a year but it could be much much longer or possibly jamais. BBB- JP JENKINS - can trade your shares with Jp Jenkins through your broker . Before you decide to buy any more potentially cheap shares remember this could all go poir shaped - to use the Italian expression
One of reasons for delisitng "may be" need to raise money sooner rather than later through restructuring . As they are not relsiting for a good year or until results are good it won't be through that route. Think they will relist once can revalue company at $200m+.
Voting against it is no use .They already have 75% of votes . And looking at Rns yesterday this could - note the word could - explode
Once delisted will be Exactly the same scenario . And Arsendal shares are worth astronomic amounts and great demand for them .
Spoke to my broker - Barclays, . They told me they could go on holding shares on my Mm account . They would show as zero value though. As for trading with JP Jenkins they - Barclays - can do that on my behalf and transfer amounts I want to trade with -Same procedure as for trading shares in aim . Value will depend on demand . May fall initially if a lot of sellers . But once "potential" corporate actions such as another RTO goes through may change things . Question to folks here . If there is another RTO would trading be suspended on JP Jenkins . Can't work out the answer . I think fact that Matra have set up alternative trading platform shows that they are - for the moment - Acting in good faith .
Its actually a reassuring Rns. They didn't have to release it or try to address shareholder concerns so fully but they did . So credit to them . Why go to such trouble answering concerns if it is an elaborate means of stealing people's money. . Also why set up trading with JP Jenkins. You still may get that cottage but next year rather than this one . However it could turn out to be bigger that you anticipated if all goes to plan and it relists at much higher price .
Stop posting threats - you can be prosecuted . Kev4 is right .
Good post
This de listing unusual in sense that they have assets .so assuming they can be trusted it could turnout to be a blessing However it all depends if you trust them or not . I can't or haven't decided yet . Whatever's happens it won't be - at the very earliest - till next summer before anything happens .
