Reckon it does mean there won't be a further extension though we could have concluded that from the CEO salary announcement.
Probably nothing to be read into tihs other than no takeover news anytime soon. I reckon the closed period would preclude this. The test results get announced by NIH and HVO have no control of announcement timing so I think the closed period doesn't apply to this.
Notice of AGM on the 13th of September. Suggests there's been a decision made but not quite polished and ready to announce yet. Still could go either way.
Yes 30p is a good target for the next couple of months.
Spike. Is it so crazy?.. Think of it - there is 30Usd profit on a barrel (low estimate at 70usd price per barrel) and BPC gets 10% (again low) that's 3usd a barrel. At the bottom estimate of 1.6bn barrels that 4.8bn USD right there. If there are 1.5bn shares that's 3 dollars a share. Alright it's dollars not pounds but these are the lower bound estimates remember. And yes it is total profits rather than annual profits but companies are often valued at 10/15x annual earnings. 150million barrels a year production is very possible. This is a couple of years away and contingent on there being any oil at all admittedly but itsalso possible that there are 16-28bn barrels out there!
Yep, on what is blatantly a dedicated anti-vax website. Half the posts on it are banging on about those darn "liberals" as well. Again while I'm not dismissing everything on that site - because I have'nt even read them - I'll be staying invested here.
Its written by a "Naturopathic" Doctor (...no me neither) who appears to be an anti-vaxxer. Note where he states-
"It seems that the more aware the public becomes on the dangers of vaccinations, the more absurd and daring the pro-vaccination community becomes at attempting to further endorse their position."
This of course does not automatically make him wrong but it does make me take his opinion with a large sack of salt.
Sadly looks like I was right. Tis the hope that kills you. More waiting ahead. Is there really such a thing as a 2 monthly update?
But must remind myself it was only a ten per cent rise on small volume. Yesterdays surge might just be a bit of PI interest, it would only take a few ten of thousands of pounds to cause that spike and news may still be a way off. Really happy if I'm proved wrong this morning.
http://www.oxfordbiomedica.co.uk/uploads/corporate-presentation/prelims2016-analystpresentation-final.pdf Presentation of the interim results. Nothing new to what they've said in the press release but a slightly clearer exposition and a little more detail on the forward outlook.
Not exactly barnstorming. No champagne corks popping yet but is that a surprise? It looks like revenue up and continuing to go up, costs coming down and potentially R&D costs to come down. All positive for a soon to be profit generating concern - with the potential game changer if novartis on the horizon. The sp isn't looking to bad right now. I'd be interested to see some new broker ratings after this.
Well I reckon things have to be in a better position if not a much much better position. The new clean room plants are built, ready and paid for. Staff are hired and trained so that capacity sorted and an element of capex costs that should come down. Second if oxb are licencing out some of their R&D projects to VCs then that's more big cash burn elements off the books and possibly some one off revenues to help pay down the loan. Add to that the fact that increased capacity means more revenue so long as there are customers, which there are for now and will be in spades if CAR-T works out. Tomorrow's announced will have an element of "jam tomorrow" as always but this time it's a lot more tangible and we can see where profit might come from. I daresay that this time next year oxb will be a profit making company.
http://seekingalpha.com/article/4045447-oxford-biomedica-set-flirt-venture-financing Any thoughts on whether this bodes well or ill? If this means Oxb gets royalties and the like from Novartis without the huge R&D cash burn this sounds positive for shareholders IMHO.
No it didn't. It is marked UT which stands for "uncrossing trade". I don't know exactly what this means or exacltywhy it happens but if you are looking a the number of buys and sells these are ones you ignore. Still not a bad rise for one day. Same again tomorrow?
