Hi SAGA shareholders,
You can contend that you can project the earnings of the insurance business going forward and place reliance on it, if you like - I don't think I can, I don't need to, so I won't.
Taken as a whole, I'm saying that last year's earnings, and quoting a PE of 2, is inappropriate
It is quiet like in the church. No buyers, no volume, no sellers...
Volume is really low, 1.4 milion - 130000 £.
Short term traders are gone, just a few retail investors, and no institutional investors.
Good morning my VLS-friends!
Thanks for your comments
What do we expect today?
AGM is a disappointment. PE ratio can not exist, there is no earnings. SAGA has been sinking with or without cruises in the last 2-3 years. Something is really wrong with the top management. COBID is not the cause of SAGA's poor business efficiency. Considering SAGA share performance, I would not like to be SAGA customer at all. It is enough for me to be trucking long longterm shareholder.
THE MET FLAMBEE EFFECT
SPURIOS wrote an excellent post.
Hi Myrtle,
Thank you very much for your posts. My view is not optimistic from this point. The volume was very low (my main concern), 10.55 p is a very humble progress. Let's hope we are not going south tomorrow.
Too low volume can cause huge volatility, in both directions
Hi DNPanic,
Thanks for your posts. I am moderately optimistic today. We will be very lucky with the volume of 30 million and the price 11.50-11.75
This gives me hope the price will not go down in the next 3 days.
Regarding SPREAD PRICE, I stil do not understand why MMs would discourage potential buyers. The lack of shares??? Why do MMs spread the panic selling? Any thoughts
Whenever I make profit I usually keep it in shares.
It worked very well for me with ITM in the last 2 months.
Hi guys,
I am very young in this kind of business, 3 months experience (just started after March disaster). My dad bought VLS 4-5-6 years ago. And I started trading with VLS to diminish his loss of 80%. Our average price is now 59p. I am kind of trader and longterm shareholder. At the moment if VLS reached 15p, I would sell to make an average price of 42p.
Thanks for you comments.
Can somebody explain to me why with huge spread MMs try to put buyers off? They want to get cheap from sellers?!
Auction? What does it mean exactly? Thanks Whitto
Thanks Supreme,
I am not sure that I understand these numbers. Can you help us ?
What's going on on LEVEL2?
What could we expect today? I hope the VOLUME will be above 30 milion., and if the price remains the same, it is ok for me. Good luck!
Chancellor Rishi Sunak is likely to hold an emergency Budget on Wednesday 8 July 2020 to usher in new support measures to help the economy move out of the coronavirus lockdown and to get the country working again.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak is likely to hold an emergency Budget on Wednesday 8 July 2020 to usher in new support measures to help the economy move out of the coronavirus lockdown and to get the country working again.
He wants to rebuild the economy with new job creation schemes to help deal with rising unemployment.
According to reports in both The Times and the Financial Times, the Chancellor has pencilled in a Budget for the week beginning 6 July, which means it will probably be held on the Wednesday (8th) - the day Budgets are normally held.
This has not yet been confirmed by The Treasury.
According to reports, the July Budget could contain three key elements:
TRAINING - A skills funds to retrain furloughed workers who have lost their jobs when the furlough scheme ends. The Chancellor will want to try to move towards full employment at a sustainable living wage.
GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE
- Massive extra infrastructure spending. This is likely to include transport projects and an acceleration of the roll out of gigabit-capable broadband. It will also include green energy projects that help the country move towards decarbonisation and the legal commitment to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050 (e.g. creating more cycle paths, improving domestic insulation, carbon capture storage and hydrogen technologies, etc.). Many business leaders are lobbying for a green recovery that tackles climate change. It could also mean state funding for domestic telecoms companies to help them develop rival 5G technology to Huawei.
TECH - A plan to help British-based technology firms.
