I wonder if for reasons of reputational clarity, Oilman Jim would clarify whether he is indeed Louis10 and welcomes his close association. Maybe he already has, I am afraid I am not paid up and do not access the free material.
Thank you Skittish great work and analysis. This is becoming a crowded space for Helium exploration - three companies when there was one last year. I guess this is good? More completion shows interest/someone has plans bigger than He1; what does that do to our SP? Assuming If and as we and others find reservoirs does that lower our potential SP? But could an upside be the rapid development and sharing of infrastructure to move Helium out of the area into the market, so speeding up any commercialisation (irrespective of rig loaning etc)? lots of variables for the future!
Dai's link to 'The Citizen' noting JW was in TZ was dated April 2022 in the article header. If that's right then its not evidence JW is in TZ, unless there is other evidence?
@KO brilliant thank you - that really puts it into my head what they need to do and just what the engineering and drilling really means. Great to be able to visualise it as and when it (hopefully) will happen. Thank you.
@KO, thanks nice post. Quick question - you say "After discovery & concomitant declaration of commerciality money is no problem". I assumed the timeline was discovery followed by several months of borehole monitoring and wireline activity before a resource can be declared commercial or contingent - that I assume is the real game changer timepoint? is the timeline more compressed than I understood?
Thank you both for your discussions - a little extra-HE1 discussion is no bad thing and your experiences and views help us newbys explore the wide AIM world with a little more focus. Good to see what else is out there and how it relates to the He1 story.
Ah, but look on the bright side, Jacob Reese-Mogg has yet to enter the contest on his mandate of a return to feudalism and throwing us peasants into the bear pits....
At what time or progress point would we expect to see a second CPR do you think? And materially how important is that CPR?
@ITV
ditto
great posts and really helpful. Thanks people.
Good report, thank you, It does demonstrate how complex tech production and primary minerals extraction is in the world and how Europe is tied to Russia and China in this sector. This make where we are with Helium one so critical in Africa, though I do not understand the geopolitics of Arica and Tanzania in particular. The reports emphasis on speed is crucial, and translated to He1 opportunity directly.
Interesting the article - believes Russia is well placed to supply the US west coast tech hub.... Also is the Russian helium green helium - I suspect that may become an increasingly important factor in the helium market going forward as more products using helium will need to prove green credentials within the supply and production lines.
I'd agree the SP is up and down like a yo-yo, partly because of low volume but mostly out of FOMO. Up at the weekend and down Monday by 8.30 or up at hint of jungle drum LinkedIn or interview. It's good to see the anticipation, but there is nothing solid until a substantive RNS. Not selling the kitchen sink just yet.
I do take some comfort from their 2023 Rig Contract & Mobilisation timeline - March through early-mid July. This still seems to be He1 2022 timeline. Unless of course they are parroting the He1 process....
@BRB fingers crossed we shall be apologising on Monday....
I think I agree - bump up due to ISA trading with a little FOMO thrown in. Not convinced by the its a leak story (wishful thinking IMO). Also what of the 300K sold after hours - doesn't suggest a leak, just someone's head clearing from the FOMO haze? Still I guess is keep calm and carry on.
