Didn't GH give the cos in the high 40s?
If we are starting a pool picking result dates put me down for the 7th of November.

We still need a consortium. I don't believe we have one for Tertiary or Cretaceous at this point.
"much less of a bust" but still a bust then - everything being relative. Orinduik is a distraction at this point, I'd rather hear an update from GH that everything is still a go and the 2B drill date is gold save for weather - I'll give him that one.
Wallact, I'm in this for Africa, the link I 'd call a fluff piece and hardly a reason to get into this stock never mind adding to an existing position. Picking a tertiary target over a cretaceous drill was an unrecoverable disaster, our energies would now be better served concentrating on 2B, ie, time to move on folks.
It's hard to believe nobody else on this board has not picked up on Total's souring of the Orinduik prospects. For years I've gone on about our misfortune of getting involved with Tullow, now I've written off Total as a potential leader - Orinduik no longer fits in with their future corporate image.
Guyana might well be planning our exit if there are no real intentions of drilling, they'll soon conclude they've been dicked around and would do better giving Orinduik to Exxon.
Another historical fluff piece and I'll be wondering if there is a problem with our scheduling at 2B.
I've read a couple of pieces that made it quite clear Total is simply no longer interested in Orinduik. My recent addition to my Eco holdings are based solely on Africa and will add more if we find ourselves back at 25p.
Got 'em all at 25.5p/CAD .3984 - paid .4015 when I swore not a penny over .39 ... cost me $235 which accounts for a few basis points. Bloody headache with the security hoops we had to jump! Fwiw.
KeithOz. Scotia Bank is one of the top 5 big banks over here, it's trading service is 'iTRADE' which charges CAD $9.99/trade, trouble is they won't allow me to buy ECO and suggested I ask GH for an explanation. Rather than ask Gil I transferred funds to Canada's top bank, Toronto Dominion, aka TD Bank. As of Friday's closing the TSX price for ECO was .500 whereas in London it was .3924 equivalent - on 73k shares the difference is over 5k GBPs which is a fair chunk of change for this colonial. After reading your reply I'll see if I can do better than TD.
Summer in the past has been a great time to score on a stink bid in this stock - I call it the doldrums. This year the mms are not cooperating.
After the Cotswolds, OZ is next on my.
I would like to purchase another ~ 75k shares of ECO on the London Exchange rather than pay the asking on the TSX. It'd cost me a one time 10 bucks to place the bid in Canada and I'd have as long as it takes to fill. To bid on the London Exchange it will cost me $150/day and my bid is only good for the day. At that cost I'd like to have my order filled the same day and was hoping one of you chaps could tell me what my bid would have had to have been on Friday to make that happen. There isn't much action on this board on weekends so Monday's numbers will be fine. Many Thanks!
Fwiw ... I trade with Scotia Bank/iTRADE who won't allow me to buy EOG stocks. When I asked why they told me to ask Gil Holzman. Looks like I might have to buy my next bunch on the London Exchange.
Under 25p or 39 cents CAD - at an exchange rate of .63, and this will fall further in the colony.
You checked the boxes that really matter mate, well put!
Hope you haven't buggered things - wink wink - but another dip in June on no news.
Guyana, what a bloody waste of time thanks to Tullow.
Hope everyone here had a chance at the 25-30% profit taking, if not there'll most likely be a couple of additional opportunities. Nothing like playing with house money as they say.
There is a chap on this page that most likely picked up quite a few shares at the equivalent of 5p, and it wasn't me.
Care to take a crack at the sp should 2B end up a gas find, anyone?
Just buy a bunch under 30p then sell enough on the 2B run-up to cover your initial investment - how long you hold before selling separates the men from the boys - whilst keeping a core position to play 3/4B which I believe holds the end game for EOG. imho
When she said " the good stuff in the gold lane" it reminded me of 3B/4B - it's being "analogous" to the Venus & Graff discoveries.
